Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

Hello, I want to ask why this post that I put up was denied (https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/4871850)

I felt adding some more for Ghost Ogre and Ghost reaper would be a nice addition, and I felt this post was of proper quality, considering this is the artist's post from Pixiv. Sometimes while I do believe that complex and styling art is good, sometimes the appreciation comes from the picture and the viewer, since the artist was highlighting overlaying both characters together to make a new monster (A ygo mechanic). I re-read the rules, and found the art was not poorly drawn, it wasn't downscaled since this was the artist's pixiv upload, or a low effort meme or upload. I'm just confused on why it was denied since I thought it was of proper quality.

The same can apply here (https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/4871870) since again, I felt that these art does portray very high quality of the character's appearance and clothing.

The first is very blocky and perhaps not poorly drawn, but not exactly well or passably drawn either. It falls under the category of low-, or at least mid-but-poor-execution-, effort meme in my eyes.

The second has bad anatomy all around. Especially the blonde.

The image is fine so far, but I try to avoid approving images with bad and unknown sources. The source links doesn't redirect to where the image is from, just to the image itself.
I guess that other approvers also try to avoid approving such bad sources.

Oh, is that all? Well, could I re-upload it with the proper link? It's so weird, I could have sworn I linked the official Star Plus One website...

No, you should be able to just edit the post to add the correct source. No need to reupload.

If the image is identical in quality, simply change the source link; if the original source is better or the existing upload is an upscale, than upload it the original source.

Remember this

By advice, I'm pretty sure he meant giving advice on why a post wasn't approved in terms of the art itself, and not advice on site practices, such as what to do to fix the source of an already existing post that otherwise would've likely been approved.
