Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

First: If you appeal any image right after it got deleted, only the approvers who didn't see the image before, will see the upload. Disapprovals get removed after one month, so you should wait one month before appealing.
Second: Favs and score have no impact on if an image is approved. Even very bad or prohibited uploads do get a high score - it's all about the image quality.
Third: While the first image of that batch is fine as it is, the other images get kinda ruined by the frame. The frame looks different that the original style and looks like a poor addition to a fine image that wasn't needed. Without the frame, it would surely get approved.

To be honest, sounds very picky, but I get you. Also thanks for the tips.

I geniuely feel like this was a master piece. Even if shota isn't your thing, you have to admit this pic is pretty high quality. Why was this not approved?

Did you really try to pass off your own upload on another imageboard as a second-party source...? Regardless of that, the quality is meh at best and the style is too western for a lot of people.

1) I'm not the artist. The artist doesn't exist anymore and has no pixiv or twitter at this point or I just would have done that. I thought that was what the second party source was for?

2) MEH? How is it meh? it's a pic with numerous ocs with a bunch of activities and a variety of goodies and fetishes for the viewer and all of it drawn with good proportions and anatonomy. Am I wrong on that?

I will accept the style maybe being too western ... but I don't agree that the picture is meh by any sense!

Second-party source indicates that the source link has some connection with the artist but is not the artist. It's to be used for things like commissions. A completely unrelated source should be tagged third-party source instead. This information is in the wikis for these tags, for future reference.

The shading and the characters' faces, especially, are not particularly appealing. You can cram as much as you want into an image but that alone does not a good image make. If anything, that can just make the flaws more blatant. Of course, if you disagree with the results of the post you are free to appeal it.

Thanks for the feedback.

Hmm well art is also personal taste and I'll agree you can cram as much as you want but if it looks like crap it's still going to be crap. I'm not an expert on shading, so I won't argue with that point. However, the art piece we're talking about still looks like professional quality. I strongly disagree with it being meh.

But still thank you for your input. I appreciate it even if I don't agree with your assesement of it.

And yes, I know I can appeal. But I won't. I was just curious on why that art piece wasn't approve. And I got my answer.

I feel like i got brutally humaniliated and rejected by many builders up to admins and i feel i will cease to exist from Danbooru i think i should give up on imageboard and focus on it's original source.

Please refrain from such posts in the feedback channel. Everyone is get treated the same and no mod or approver wants to humiliate any user in any way. Good images get approved and bad ones get deleted or approved when the right approver sees it, it's just how the site works.
If you feel like one specific mod or approver bullied you, you should talk directly to an Admin, instead of posting here.
