The ATOM feed was changed to show just the basic information about image to show just the character name, series, and artist. Any way to change it back to where it showed all the tags for image or set up a different feed?

are you sure about this? or are you referring to the title element? the summary element shows all the tags though.

I'm pretty sure since it's been like this for a day or two. It's the title element since the summary still displays the image, like it had before. I use Google Reader (for now) so I don't know if it's something different on other RSS readers.

I filter out the explicit stuff, so having all or most of the tags is pretty damn helpful.

No, <summary> block actually has all the tags, picture is in the <content> block:

Can you filter out things on <summary> block? It's more accurate than the former title anyway (which included max 25 tags).

I would if anything other than the thumbnail would show up.

Here is what I receive.

Title: lilith aensland and morrigan aensland (vampire (game)) drawn by mario grant
Author: by Kikimaru
Body: (Thumbnail)

No additional tags other than the three in the title. The only other thing I can do is take a screenshot.

what is exactly your subscription like, if you don't mind sharing it with us? how do you filter explicit material through the title before? do you use blacklists?

I do it mostly by sight. If I see something "cum_in_mouth" or "sex" in the title, I just mark the item as read. I used FeedDemon in the past, but I'm cheap and didn't get the Pro version.

How I normally add a feed is I would get the ATOM link and add it to a Images folder. I don't use extra tags like ratings or multiple tags. I have tried some new feeds just in case, but it still displays the basic info in the title and just a thumbnail in the body. No other RSS feed is doing something this strange. I still get the full body of text and images from other feeds like Slashdot and Destructoid.

This might have been asked before, but the words are too common to easily find in a search.

Could a feature be added where the question mark to the left of the tag name becomes a more faded shade if a wiki for that tag doesn't exist?

Title change was intended, I just thought that you filter them out via script rather then by sight. Opera RSS reader also omits <summary>.

Well, I guess it's possible to make an additional parameter for url that will make atom display full tag list in title, but it'll be hard to document properly. Maybe just having rating in the title would suffice? You'll see if the image is explicit right away, like that:

lilith aensland and morrigan aensland (vampire (game)) drawn by mario grant (Questionable)

It's also possible to embed tags in the content block, but I'd like to hear the other users opinions first, as it will clutter the message (somewhat).

Whatever happen to change it from having all the tags happened just 2 or 3 days, so I thought someone was testing something out. If the tags did or would show up in the summary, I'm sure I can find a way to filter stuff that way.

Even having the rating in the title makes me feel like I'm missing out on something. Besides, I can filter out the rating:explicit stuff by adding a second tag and grabbing a new feed link.

just in case, the change in document title which also affected the atom entries, i assume, can be read here issue #1061

is there a reader that reads properly the summary element? i tested 3 and indeed no information inside the summary was displayed.

and regarding adding the tags inside the content block, how about adding a paragraph with all the tags? i was half expecting to see a body of text below the clickable thumbnail from danbooru.

or in case this is too messy, maybe add a title attribute inside the img tag? currently, we have none.

As I said, that was intended change; actually, I was the one to suggest it ( see issue #1260 ).

I also think that paragraph with tags in body is an acceptable solution. Will that be enough for your case?

How do I upload a .SWF/flash file? When I tried, I got a long error dump.

The error you got was:

ArgumentError - expected a file to upload

Not sure why, as I managed to upload flash files to my server fine when I just tried. (I tried both downloading from url and uploading from my computer.)

Do you get the same error if you try again?

Tried to delete post #1398015, it gives error: post is pending. Also there is no documentation as to what the post ban button does & the unban button gives something broke.

Apparently, the only way to delete a post is to approve it first. But it still gives the "Error: Post is Pending" while deleting.

Been going through this thread, haven't seen anything so I'll have to ask here:

Some days ago I noted that I can no longer change/edit tags. Reverting them seems possible, but editing them in general not.

Using Firefox 19.0.2, javascript fully enabled on danbooru. Oh and my rank seems to be gold, if that matters.

Heh, noticed something. Posts.atom seems to depend on user setting for posts per page if you're logged in on the domain you're pulling it from. And maybe it's Opera RSS reader problem, but it can't recognize internally stored posts with same ids, and reloads a few old posts that were added at the end of the feed. Can anyone check with different readers?

2.3.0:

  • The tag editing area's default size will now fit the tags for that post.
  • Renamed favorite tags to frequent tags, as that more accurately describes their usage.
  • Added pixiv #26497208 syntax to link to Pixiv illustrations.
  • Added issue #1131 syntax to link to GitHub issues.
  • Added a user setting to color usernames.
