Tagged the posts as cicada block and updated pool description. pool #8876 is safe to delete.
EDIT: Thinking about this a little more, I'm not sure if this and cicada block are quite the same thing. I tagged everything either as wall slam or cicada block for the time being. But this doesn't need to be a pool regardless.

I'm not against the idea of the pool and it's always been neat... but is it too subjective perhaps?
Never really got much of a response to this, and it's been bugging me again since the adds still seem to be simply cherry picked personal things; Adds of pics from Record of Lodoss Wars, Bakuretsu Hunters, Digimon, Transformers, Power Rangers, Sailor Moon... And as much as I believe people feel nostalgia for those shows, it's still a matter of "why this and not that?".
My examples from last time still stand but newer ones might be why add post #1739206 and not post #1636157? Or post #1728951 but not post #1729186? Or post #1738190 but not post #1403535? I could go on with those of course. More or less, if a series in itself is nostalgic why are only certain pics, that don't necissarily represent memorable moments in the show or such, nostalgic and others aren't?
I do feel better about some of the recent adds like post #1738758 and post #1735277 for timeless childhood actions rather than wholesale series/characters, but even then I wonder if those couldn't just be tags; fan speaking already is one, Bugle_Claws could just as well be. Regardless I think the pool could use some direction and definition, perhaps more focused on pivotal moments and certain childish acts rather than blanket "old things".

I'm against deleting it. The pool does have purpose, but I do agree that it's getting filled with a lot of cherry picking as that guy put it.
All it needs is to be kept tightly pruned like the disgustingly adorable pool.

That pool is ancient and I'm pretty sure it was discussed before it's creation but good luck finding the thread with such a vague title. Unless you have a tag suggestion that covers it without confusion it stays.

"Quote", "message" and text. The pool description has those right there. Quote for anything a famous person has said. Message for any text that is also conveying a message. Text is already setup.
Seems clear cut to me.
