AI-generated art check thread

Posted under General

AI detector sites are even worse at detecting AI than humans. Just look at the mangled fingers merging with the clothing and all the nonsensical clothing details. This is AI-generated, upscaled into oblivion.

This is actually a bit of an unusual check: I am not asking if the image here is AI (as I am pretty certain it is), but what brought me here is the fact that it was marked by Huaban as potentially being AI from the thumb nail (and from this view, it still has a warning doubting its legitimacy). I'm not sure if this is arbitrary, like all AI checkers are, or if someone manually had to review it in order to check. How trustworthy is this warning system, I ask? Should I still double-check images marked with this warning before trying to source and upload them in case of false alarms, or are images marked like this fairly safe to ignore?

This image has been uploaded to Danbooru almost 4 years ago (post #4059655, banned). It is not AI.
The original source has been deleted by the artist.

Huh. So then, I take it this thing is faulty. As I suspected, but I wanted to double check. Should've known from the very beginning, honestly. Thank you.

I ask again here for the second time. They accuse my upload by AI and the only message says to ask here when I already did and there is still no response. It is fine if it is not considered of good quality, but for them to say that it is generated by AI without justifying it, which has more penalties, is very annoying (I'm talking about post #7680675). I'm trying to upload it because it has a higher level of quality than a large amount I see approved here.

Since they don't like that art, they don't do anything to remove the AI either. If you are going to do that, delete the post completely because you are only going to harm the artist because of a kid's joke. The artist has sometimes drawn live and I follow him.

@thelieutenant why do you think it's AI?

@thelieutenant why do you think it's AI?

1. twitter account with no followers, the image posted here within 15 minutes
2. thick outlines
3. the thighs have detail but face doesnt
4. their previous art on da is different art style
5. >thesoulkiller, artist named sksource its a self upload

New twitter account for publishing only art. Thick outlines... maybe small canvas? A6 format. What do other details need the face? Different style? Is it not always anime coloring with light gradient?

If you say that is AI... I can say you thousands of approved posts with those features here. I think you want to justify "account with no followers", but that is no reason. If you see DeviantArt with more followers... that account is linked there. I see many twitter links on Danbooru, so I used twitter link.

At least I'm grateful that you talked, because I didn't see a way to talk to anyone.

That thick lineart and render quality look more like those amateur artist who is just starting out and not yet skilled, The only thing that looks AI is the SD1.5-looking composition&pose which could mean they might traced over AI

I think this looks ok but there's a comment saying it's AI. I'm not convinced by that comment though so I'd like to have it checked here.

I would say that it is not AI generated. I think the hat has been drawn on a layer in the background to have a version without the hat. I would wait for others to give their opinion as well. When you start drawing, it can be hard to fit removable clothes.

post #7610401 has a small tag war going on, and this "artist"(?) already has a lot of AI-assisted posts under their name, making me unsure of what to make of this post.

Looking at it full size, the line is too clean to be AI-generated tbh, You can also clearly see the brush strokes But some of them sure look like they were traced from AI
Right now, generating an image over 2000px without leaving any AI noise or artifacts seems impossible to me
