Why was this post removed? The artist conveys the gloom of the characters, so he uses dark tones. The art itself is well done. Please review the post. I think it's a very interesting job.

Those are parents of images that were uploaded up to 6 years ago and more. Quality standards and approvers changed over time. You still have to see, if an image is good enough for todays standards.

Horribly late response, but if at any point, I made a point that an image that's part of a series shouldn't be deleted, then I'm sorry. I have to remind myself that.
Anyway, several (not all, but an awful lot) pics I've been uploading kinda got deleted and I'm rather stumped as to why.

This one I was disappointed that it got nixed, because it looked crisp and was directly an inspiration for post #5570379. Maybe the breasts are too big? (Yes, I know official art does not get an easy pass because it's "official".)

It's weird that as good as Azumanga Daioh is, it doesn't get a lot of new pics. Probably because it's 20 years old and hasn't gotten some kind of new anime or something? Anyway, I was crushing on Yomi, so I pounced to upload some (relatively) new art of her ASAP. I guess her nervous expression kinda renders this as a bit awkward and/or creepy?

3d, especially 3d porn, is held to much higher standards. Especially when the models are openly taken from another person.
Rough overall
Western-style art is similarly scrutinized or ignored, doesn't help that it's not the artist's best work
Same as the 2nd
It's surprisingly flat and empty for official art
Questionable spine twist
The lack of an artist and being official art probably gave people pause. Official art isn't a free pass and can be hard to source properly.

I was extremely close to approving it, but it has noticeably worse shading and styling than the other images. Images are judged primarily in isolation. An artist can have 100 approved images but that doesn't mean their 101 can be a sketch weaker than the rest of their work.

But the problem is that her arm looks like a t-rex arm, her head is bulbous, and the face-forward look is not great.
