I checked the artist of post #5193880 before upload it. miraino tsubasa
They're almost the same style, so I decided to upload the post. To be honest, I believe they are the same quality, but didn't get deleted.
Forgive me, but for all of the post, I Used Saucenao or Ascii2d to find sources or duplicates followed by upload instructions. So I still have not idea how they similar to the others.
Thanks.

Similar to the other responses above your posting. Enough minor issues to where they wouldn't get approved.

As for being similar to the artist's other work, you shouldn't use that as a measure of what will or will not get approved. Most importantly because all images are judged in isolation. It doesn't matter if an artist has 500 approved images. Number 501 could still be a bad one.
Second, you fell for a very classic trap that pops up here:
The artist has a significantly low approval rate than you think. 29 images, 26 active, but only five of them were ever approved.
Remember to judge the art, not the artist.

So the post active doesn't mean they're good enough?
Thanks for your patience and advice.

Were the noodle arms the problem here? lol
post #5200947

The perspective and kinda uncanny head/face. The arms aren't great but they're not noodles.

Let me see if I can guess the problem with this one (post #5206710). It was a less than flattering angle, wasn't it?

Ass & Tits poses are hard to get right, especially ones were you're throwing in perspective tricks like that. However, it's the original that's bad. The revision ain't bad.

Oh wow. Deleted in 24 hours but then brought back in 17 hours. Thanks! :D

Why so much regulation and verbiage if there are no criteria here other than personal prejudice? It's a waste of time. You just approve whatever you want. I have uploaded superb images that weren't approved for some far-fetched excuse but any Touhou image is approved in minutes regardless of quality. There is a very noticeable bias towards certain characters and series.

Touhou: 726k

Post count for touhou age:<1mo status:active approver:any: 2903

That's a nearly 10% deletion rate for things in the queue, which is normal. 80-90% of everything that goes through the queue gets approved.

A while back you asked about a few of your deleted images. You were told about the weak shading and proportions. You found a pet artist who has frequent proportion and shading issues.

If you'd like to talk about specific images, you're welcome to bring them up. But "you only like touhou" is constantly disprovable and very frequently something levied at us. A few weeks ago it was "we hate hetero people". A few weeks before that it was "you only like porn". Before that, it was "danbooru is anti-porn".

We judge the art.

How strange. You judge the art but haven't approved images from the same artist who had approved all the previous ones. So this criterion is non-existent? Or is it the following: some characters yes, other characters no. Also, the excuses you give are either petty and stilted or you don't even give any excuses at all. This seems random, as if image approvals are driven by an algorithm.
I'm not going to bother uploading images anymore, it's a waste of time, but at least I want to point out the elephant in the room.

Alright bye.

Greetings,

I've been a member for over 10 years but only just started uploading in any significant amount recently. So far my track record with the moderation queue has been good (minus absent-minded duplicates), and I'd like to avoid future deletions. So I'm curious what was not liked about a recent deletion.

Post in Question: post #5226874

My guess is that the lighting, pose, and general oversized breasts of miton-chan (miton (turuyasann)) make her look too skinny, which is a major turn-off for a lot of people. The thumbnail definitely doesn't help. While I wouldn't put it high among miton_(turuyasann)'s art, to me it matches the general style and quality of miton_(turuyasann)'s works, who has relatively few deletions (~5%). Maybe it needed the rating:questionable tag instead of rating:safe?

Speaking of miton_(turuyasann)'s deletions, even though it's not my own, I'd like to draw attention to post #4148425 as well. I definitely understand why it wasn't approved. However, the commentary explains why her breasts were drawn that way, giving a story to the artist's decisions.

Thanks

It has very strange proportions and perspective. It's not actually her breasts making her look skinny, she just is skinny. Her hand is bigger than the hip it's resting on and her head is bigger than her torso. It's like a barbie doll and very odd to look at closely.

Fair. It doesn't bother me that much, but it's inevitable disagreements will happen the more I upload. Though, looking at the artist's post history on Twitter, that one has significantly fewer likes than nearly every post after it. So I guess I should pay closer attention to that as well. That said, the post I chose not to upload has almost 1k more likes. I'd upload it to test the theory, but something about it does bother me, so I'll leave that to someone else.

Nah. Never pay attention to likes and whatnot. Across the whole of the internet, score/favcount/whatever are not a measure of quality but of horniness. Almost every single top 1000 image on Danbooru by score or favcount are NSFW.

There are about 60k images on Danbooru that have over 100 score. About 10k of them are rating:safe. If you remove ass focus, breast focus, swimsuits, and lingerie pinups, you reduce that to 3.5k. And a majority of it is still half-naked women and bunnysuits.
