Another 4 days later & it's still dead. The "page not found" error happens on Danbooru, not IQDB, and IQDB by itself is working fine so the problem must be on this end.
It will be fixed in the next version.

Is it just on my end or did the status thumbnail borders (green/yellow/red/black for parent/child/flagged/deleted) get made much thinner? I'm having trouble seeing them, especially on images that have vaguely similar backgrounds.
EDIT: Never mind, apparently I had held Ctrl and moved my scroll wheel a single tick. Didn't notice until I looked very closely at the site header and noticed it was minutely smaller. Hate it when that happens.
Updated
I didn't see any forum posts or otherwise about this; It seems like the UI for subscribing to a search or tag is gone now? I have two subscriptions I made using the old way, but can't figure out how to make any more. I still have the Favorite option on individual posts. I looked through the FAQ and didn't see anything about this either. Did I just forget how to add subscriptions because it's convoluted? I feel like it was simpler before...
EDIT: Ah, I think I figured it out. My mistake. It would be good to describe how it works in the FAQ - I think it took me hours to figure out last time :)

The way tag subscriptions work is already described on the linked help page (help:tag_subscriptions).
Anyway, you're a basic member so you can't use tag subscriptions. You'd need to upgrade to a gold account for them to work.

Looking at his profile they seem to be...unless for some reason higher tiered accounts can see the subscriptions populated on regular members now.
Basic members can create tag subscriptions. But they won't update automatically. They only update once when created, meaning the posts you see in there now are the only posts that will ever appear in his subscriptions - notice the posts in his Erubo subscription are 3 months outdated. So they're useless since the whole point of subscriptions is the automatic update thing.

(...), the forum is still falsely showing "new" on arbitrary topics for me. Even if I mark all as read, they claim to have new posts moments later.
I have had similar problems until recently. For example, when I logged in yesterday, all forum topics since 17th March or so, including the ones I had read in the meantime, were showing as "NEW".
I have logged in pretty seldom lately, though, so this might have been fixed in the meantime.
Could you please explain how showing new (unread) topics in the Danbooru forums is supposed to work at present? A link to any clear and valid explanation is fine, too.

It does this every time I re-login I've come to expect it at this point.
Just minutes ago, I checked the oldest topic showing as "NEW", then logged out, deleted all Danbooru cookies, and logged in again.
Every topic since that oldest unread one became "NEW" again.
If this is how it is supposed to work, it is not really much more useful than the old system, which marked everything unread at logout.
Simple Machines forums can handle this sort of thing, keeping track of truly read and unread topics, more or less infinitely. I wonder if that is very resource-consuming.

Somehow I don't have the green frame on parent posts after the downbooru..

Same. Child posts show their parent and sibling posts, but parent posts do not indicate having and child posts.
That's from issue #2114's resolution. Until the script mentioned there is run, under Advanced Settings, set "Show deleted children" to "Yes".

This is normal. It's because the way parents work was changed. When the update script is done running they'll go back to having the green frame. Not sure exactly how long that could take, maybe an hour or two after Albert starts running it.
