Yes, see help:users. However, you hadn't reached it. You'll note a good portion the whole page above your post is people with the same problem. Some glitch is happening.
I just tried to create a new user.
I got a bunch of failboorus on danbooru and hijiribe as well. After several tries it finally worked.

But apparently, they're getting that from searching artists...? As for the limit, I thought it was just for uploads, not to see it... Too bad we can't just see everything D:

options, weapon_request, "character or title links," respirator, and cuticle_tantei_inaba aren't artist tags.
I don't think I've ever had a situation where I needed to view more than 1,000 pages of a search. If there was a need one could probably get around it by using another tag to narrow the results.

Hmmm, I see, but is this limit like, 1000 pages for a specific result or like, you'll see 1000 pages in Danbooru and won't be able to see anything else after that...?

The TL notes seem to have become hypersensitive when browsing on a phone. (Chrome on Android) If I press the note box more than a light tap, the border turns red and no notes can be read until I refresh the page. This is especially annoying on posts that have lots of notes and I have to swipe the screen to move around, but I touch a note by accident and can't read them anymore. Exactly the same symptoms and it goes away after a refresh.

When a count query times out it returns the number 1000000. So it's just timing out occasionally when trying to calculate how many posts it should be.

Same for me - they wouldn't show up a few hours ago and I though it was just some hiccup on my end, but apparently not. (They still just show the "that page does not exist, return to index" page.)
The posts themselves still exist, but it seems the pool they are in (pool #8230) does not contain the posts, even though the posts say that the pool does contain them, so the site bugs out and gives a 404. Not sure how that happened but I fixed it by just re-adding those 4 posts to the pool.
