I like it the old way much better, but waiting for things to settle down a bit to start arguing.

It wasn't my intention to start a argument over the matter, I was stating my opinion how I liked the old layout in regards to where the pool section was placed; and was curious how others felt, but I guess I'll apologize just in case.

I don't see an argument as a bad thing. If a lot of people like the old layout, why not appeal to bring it back? It's just that now Albert is too busy with critical bugs to pay attention to small things like pool layout, and I'm well aware of that.

Because I think it's important to note what goes right, not just what goes wrong, I want to say

for making the pool navigation targets larger (i.e., "next>>" instead of just ">>".) It's a huge difference in usability.

Heh, I have asked for this. Clicking the tiny >> was quite a chore.

I prefer the pools being listed on the left for short named pools. It doesn't look so good with pools that end up taking up three lines, though.

It's also a bit confusing when a post belongs to more than one pool (like post #1025276), as it can be difficult to tell where one name ends and the next begins at a glance. Adding some kind of space or separator between them may help.

I totally agree. Well, each pool begins in a new line with <<prev, that's ok. Empty lines to separate them would be nice, but take up space...
Maybe a colored box like before for each of the pools?

I was mouseovering the images on the front page and noticed one of them had a capital letter for its rating ("rating:S") whereas the others had lowercase letters. I went to check on the rating of the image, and nothing was selected.

I took some screenshots before updating its rating. Not sure how widespread this is, but I'm on the lookout now.

Edit: post #1363892
EditEdit: I attempted to cause it by uploading an image with "rating:S" as a tag, but that failed. Is this perhaps a symptom of some kind of 3rd party upload script?

Updated

The searching engine is so bugged now T_T Database crashes even from something like "gentags:1 -tagme", tough there must be only 2 or 3 pages. Also, when I reach the last page of a query it crashes as well and doesn't even show the exact number of them. Even if I refresh the page and it turns out to be last after I tagged some images, it crashes anyway.
Don't know if anyone posted already, but one more thing - when you click "comments" in your profile, it no longer shows you your own comments but redirects you to general comment column.

I tried to use the Danbooru Uploader to upload post #1363937 and the image rating was "rating:Q" on the tooltip but the actual post had no rating. I don't know if other add-ons are also causing the strange post rating.

that's weird but moonspeaker translated post #1361205 but a bubble is now missing. Yet, the logs does not show any kind of deletion of said translation note.

Looks like the same issue mentioned on the previous page (forum #84699). I hit the Revert button on the note history, and that fixed it.

In this case it definitely seems to have been deleted rather than having its position messed up, though: I checked the page source prior to reverting, and while all the other notes were there, note #844562 wasn't. Did something maybe glitch in the database migration to Danbooru 2?

quick question about favorite tags. does this work like they used to where, when uploading, it will list all the tags you put in the box and then you can click them to add them to the tags while uploading? i used this a lot back before the site changed. it made it easy for me to check if i missed any common tags like highres, comic, translation_Request, and that stuff.

That note disappearing is probably a combination of two bugs: 1. The delete button doesn't prompt for confirmation; 2. Note deletions don't show up in note history.
Someone must have deleted it accidentally and didn't know how to fix it.

Sorry if this questions have been answered:

- The bookmarklet is working, is there a fix for it?

- All the danbooru grease monkey scripts aren't working, is there a fix for that?

- I want to have albert's babies but I'm a guy, is there a fix for that?

Digging the new look, props.
