A screenshot and a recording of a VRChat avatar.

What happened, I uploaded four posts today from vakaosciosa about Prince Eugen being tied up.
But I just opened my account and found that these four posts are not displayed, although they are still under review, and my upload card slot is still occupied.
Where did you get those posts from? You uploaded them without a source.

What do you mean, the site itself is a site for artists to upload their work. What's wrong with uploading these pictures to danbooru
Please read and understand help:image source. Any artworks should be sourced directly to the artist's post on social media as much as possible. Websites or imageboards like Gelbooru, Yande.re, Zerochan or kemono.party are considered third-party sources that archives animanga images. Many of posts that exist there are often not properly sourced, and it's considered as bad as "stealing" artworks. Images from such sites might be potential paid rewards, content that should not be uploaded to Danbooru.
Unlike those sites, Danbooru respects artists by requiring users to credit the original artists by properly sourcing their posts directly. Also, the staff will takedown posts based on original artist's request.

kemono.party reposts paid rewards, which are banned. Read the upload rules before uploading again, it's right on top.

It's so funny, I uploaded his self-published works and you are treated so perfunctorily. If it is really vakaosciosa's request to delete it, I have no objection, but post #6205646 was deleted by you for no apparent reason.
post #6203380 also from the same artist
Don't tell me it's because the source site is different, that's the pixiv you mainly suggested. There are also quite a few posts on danbooru from the same artist but from different sources.
@World_Funeral please leave this thread to approvers. You're confusing users with wrong information.
@QQWWU danbooru forbids the upload of paid rewards, which is what the posts that were hidden are. The post that was deleted instead went through the modqueue, which is a different process. This topic is for feedback on this last process.
can I get some information as to why post #6205406 was deleted?
post #6205436 has a similar parent-child relation and is by the same artist, so I'm failing to see what's different here.

Need some feedback over this one as it didn't get approved on time
Need someone to take a look at this, since all of the artist's previous works has the same style and get approved.
Do I need to appeal it ?
any reason this official art isn't approved yet even after the appeal? https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/6210761
same for this one https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/6210775 << didn't appeal it yet
I see no reason for both to not get approved. same source, quality, and resolution as the ones that got approved
I talked to a mod about auto-approving arts that didn't get a single poor-quality vote from approvers in 3 days. Don't know if he read my suggestion or not but I think it will solve a lot of problems uploaders here have with the current approval system and legit poor-quality art will still get filtered

Putting "Game File" as the source and not tagging an artist is sometimes necessary when you're uploading official art. But approvers will be much more hesitant to approve it if we can't verify that what you're posting is unmodified actual official art. E.g. upscaled art is not permitted.
If you want to increase your chances of getting something sourceless approved, you could add a comment or explain how you extracted this file in an appeal reason.

Hello,
Got a question regarding this one: https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/6203332?q=user%3AHydroBottle. It was doing really well and was liked by people and yet it was not approved. It even got more likes than the post with only left side visible. What could be done to have it approved?

Fair. but there should have been a note that stated the reason so I can correct it because I can't tell if it was that or just the lack of interest in the art/copyright itself
lol. no.
care to explain? poor-quality fanarts still won't pass. I admit I have no idea how many get uploaded every day and maybe 3 days are too short for auto-approval but everything I uploaded and got deleted was seen by at least 3 approvers, the average is 8 so just hit the poor-quality button for something you don't think belongs here.
Popular copyrights have more contributors who upload for them and they upload a lot of decent to even very poor-quality which got me very confused until I learned they bypass the quality check
while less popular copyrights/characters/artists have it harder since mostly normal users upload for them so I think this will reduce the bias a lot
I promise I won't drag this out any longer so if you got no answer just ignore me.
and to stay on topic, this got deleted yesterday and I dont see why https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/6209133

post #6212740 this one? Is it just big boob / lactation discrimination again? If so my next uploads are probably gonna have the same fate. We need more pervy mods lol.
I'm wondering why sometimes fanart of the same subject of the same quality by the same artist is approved, and sometimes it's deleted. For example,
https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts?tags=meranoreuka_%28naokentak%29+kagamine_len+status%3Adeleted vs
https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts?tags=meranoreuka_%28naokentak%29+kagamine_len (in my opinion, the ones that got deleted are some of the better drawings)
and
https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts?tags=aimio_nagi+status%3Adeleted vs
https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts?tags=aimio_nagi their other fanart, a lot of which use identical lighting/colors.
Is it just dependent on which mods are on for those three days? I know that the site's demographic tends to prefer cute girls and nsfw to sfw bishies/shotas, so that kind of thing is less likely to be instantly approved, but being deleted seems like a little much. Am I doing something wrong, or should I appeal them?

No, you’re not doing anything wrong. The thing is… it does depend on what approver sees the image. And images aren’t deleted, they just fail to be active on the site. That’s what happens when an image isn’t approved. Anyone can appeal them or an approver can go back and undelete them so to speak and make the image active.
And there are a few approvers that like sfw bishies/shotas in particular Otoko no ko shotas. So if you want to maximize your chance probably go with that? But yeah all I can tell you is keep it up and you’ll get a feel for what type of bishies you should appeal or not upload to the site.
And remember if you ever think I’m not sure about this image. Don’t upload. Would be my advice.
