it is a downscaled version of an already existing post, i assume third-party decensoring falls in the bordeline content but downscaled edits are prohibited according to help:upload rules

Ah, that makes sense.
I had read the downscaling rule before uploading, but figured that the resolution danbooru automatically scaled the image to would be correct either way.

Danbooru supports uploading from most art sites out there, so you should almost never need to save the file to disk before uploading it.
I probably should've figured that this site was intended to be just for leeching from the sourcing rules. Is there a way to purge the post out of status:deleted?

Only admins can expunge posts but i don't think this is a case where they would actually do it, lots of worse posts that break the rules still don't get purged, it just means they don't get approved. Just be mindful for your next uploads
Danbooru doesnt automatically scale images you upload, it just automatically gets the highest available size of the image from the source link if it's supported, so of course stuff you upload from your hard-drive doesn't get that treatment
This artwork was ahead of its time. So why did this got rejected?

Is there any reason why this one hasn't been approved? Feedback will be appreciated since similar drawings have been approved before from the same artist, just recently 3 of them have been "deleted". (I have permission from the artist to upload their drawings and source link is always there)
