Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

Posted under General

Okay I'm just completely baffled by post #6119209, it wasn't just disapproved by disinterest, someone actually disapproved it for poor quality. I NEED someone to explain to me how: the image is drawn exceptionally well, with an incredible level of detail; if this counts as poor quality, I have no idea anymore what quality is.
(Even the child post, which is less polished and detailed, is not what I would have expected as poor quality, but the parent is just on a completely different level, which is why it's so crazy to me)

Not quite as bewildering, but I'm also confused about post #6104145 being deleted, even though it's not my upload; it's a great dynamic pose based on her X-Caliber move in the games, and the quality is absolutely on par with the rest of the artist's art, it's a great homage to her games.

And as an aside, I would still appreciate any feedback to help me understand the posts I mentioned in forum #234837, where I haven't gotten any replies.

Really trying to understand what happened here with post #6089858

To give a break down, post bypassed the mod queue first time around.
Post became parented to a pixiv post that then was in the moderation queue.
Parent post eventually is deleted due to non-approval.
My post is then subsequently flagged citing said deletion as the reason.
I submit an appeal.
After doing so, the pixiv uploads of the entire four image series including the one that's a parent of mine are approved, but mine is not.
Of both the original twitter series, and the pixiv series, seven out of the eight images are on the board, only post #6089858 is deleted.
Adding onto this that because the parent was approved after the fact, the original citation that brought the post into the mod queue in the first place was rendered invalid.

I could understand if the parent remained deleted, but it didn't.

Yes, you can only appeal once.

I see. Well, it's the only one of 22 that's been deleted. A moderator agrees that the raw scan is better than the current parent (cleaned version), but can't approve it twice. Not much else to be done. I suppose I'll just make note of it here.

Considering appealing since there is next to no art of this series and I think the piece is interesting. Anyone notice any glaring errors im overlooking before I appeal?

The shading is good, but also poor

The right arm wing looks transparent
the color of the fur is too close in shades, you can't tell what's a tail or an extra liimb.

Incidentally I think that ambiguity on features might be why I like it so much, but I understand your points. Sound like its pointless to appeal then, thanks for the overview.

Twitter version got deleted to be consistent with the pixiv version being deleted.

Later on, the pixiv set was reviewed and approved, but there was no reason to bring back the twitter version since its pretty much a copy.
