Well they aren't that different to get different fates here and i've seem many worse approved here, if you approved one could approve the other as well if the face is the only part you see any defect in both, even if you think someone would flag them later, because maybe not so i will appeal one more time.

The linework is jagged and pixelated and Sexually explicit images are less likely to be approved than other images.

Her face looks "flat", as does the background. Komposition is kinda meh. Her left hand and arm looks of, may just be the way the wing is obscuring it but it does detract from the image. There seems to be something artifacty going on, unfortunately I dont know enough about the subject to say more.

No, this is not better than Ashujous other approved posts. Most notably their other artwork has something going on in them like hugs or a happy, bouncy Pikachu. In these the characters are just "there". There is nothing wrong with Satoshi but there is also nothing interesting about him just holding a poke ball.

Serena is standing in an uncomfortable pose with her but out and her chest straight up. There is a bit of a crusade against bad anatomy going on at the moment and while this is certainly anatomically possible many moderators are shying away from weird fan-servicey poses. She is also just standing there smiling. There are close to a million images of girls smiling on Danbooru so mods tend to look for more than that these days.

1: Shading is mediocre. Lighting seems to be from one side on her face an an other on her dress. Linework on her wing stalks is bad. Composition is meh. Some points for being cute and childlike but this is below Danboorus somewhat fuzzy quality threshold.

2: A tricky one. There are many nitpicks in this one like her bow being flat and unshaded and the jagged kanji but I think every mod that passed it over had their own reasons here. Nue being violated by her own wings is at least an interesting concept.

3rd one: Her boobs looks like squished balloons. The deep skin looks downright freaky. Her upper arms seem to be missing.

4th one: I flagged this one. I hope you dont take it as a personal slight or anything, its certainly not intended to be.
While the girls are competently drawn there is only shading on their necks and under Daiyousei but not under Koakuma. Their nipples looks smudged for lack of a better word. The wings have a lower quality than the rest of the girls and the floating hearts are quite crap. This really looks like a work in progress, if it ever gets cleaned up and coloured I should expect it to fit right in on Danbooru.

1: This is rough. There is a lot of pixelation to the point that I think it has been upscaled, possibly by the artist them self since some object doesnt have it. There is more thigh gap than whats reasonable and her right thigh looks detached from her hip. As I mentioned above there is a crusade going against "bad anatomy". How are those chains attached to her hat? Its like they just end mid link.

2nd: A resounding meh. Momiji eating Onigiri is really not a novel concept and the image really doesnt have anything else making it stand out. Kinda lowres.

Appeals are made in topic #8554. This is the topic for people that wants to be better uploaders.

@g3gen I think one reason your post got deleted was that you put it as a child to the sample image instead of making it the parent. The superior post should generally be parent to any inferior version. (I fixed it for you).

I won't give feedback on every image per se, but I rather pool them in categories:
All posts above post #2968651 and the last three have rather noodly proportions or other errors with perspective/prportions or anatomy. I've undeleted one, but they are all either having too long torsos or other issues, like bad ips or breasts.

Then the images below are rather minimalistic. This may not an issue per se (-> minimalism), but they are rather uninteresting. One could say in a provocativ manner that nothing was really lost by not approving them.

These are mostly rather mediocre images that are hit or miss and might’ve been approved another day.

post #3059659 - Poor shading that’s basically just matte gradients, making her look more like a plastic figurine; wasted potential with the almost completely unshaded gradient hair; matte light source seems to be below her. Seems like the artist used less effort past the foot focus.

Maybe someone else has more to say.

Another confusing thing is how I see some of my uploads end up in the "Curated" pool while still being in queue for approval. Take https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/3096650 for example.

The “Curated” pool is basically just a fanservice collection. If a post has enough fanservice, the overall quality doesn’t matter.

Posts end up in the curated pool if at least two supervoters upvote it. Supervoters are automatically reassigned every week depending on how close their upvotes are to albert's. The pool is generated automatically, so it has no part in the approval system.

Asking for an appeal or inquiry about how this was not approved, besides from "mods not liking it".
