That Faraway Night
My only friends were Tepeu and you, the sun, who always watched over me. But our lives were more filled with twists and turns and love than any other form of humanity.
After sixty-six million years, we finally became humankind, just like you, aiming for the same sky...to the beyond.
This is a painting of bygone days, a tiny, special something that came into being in that sea of trees where everyone was treated with equal value and respect: two people watching the ancient stars fall. And you're the painter, drawing our adventure in which we traveled wherever we pleased while repeating our mistakes, forgetting that everyone is the same and is treated the same.
