彼らに罪があるとすれば、私を信じたこと。
私についてきてくれたことしかない。
我が命を喜んで捧げよう。
だから、彼らを救う方法を教えて欲しい。
だが、もし救えぬのであれば。
この戦いの結末に、彼らの命が必要なのであれば。
人を救うことを止めて、人類を救済しよう。
善も悪も、弱き民も、強き者も、
誰も彼も全て救ってみせる。

これは、ある少年が英雄であることを捨てた話。
