Program Title is "Kaguya Hime (The Tale of Princess Kaguya)
[ Something like a sequel to post #702406 ]
In the British Isles, where a fleet of Nakajima G10N bombers were stationed, a "British-Japanese Cultural Exchange Festival" took place in which the bomber fleet crew thought to perform a play of the old Japanese story, "The Tale of Princess Kaguya," so that the members of the RAF could learn about Japanese culture.
In this picture taken after the staged performance, the principal members of the bomber fleet, such as Captain Houraisan Kaguya who to play the role of Kaguya Hime, were enjoying themselves in the commemorative photograph beside the new type of interceptor aircraft jointly developed by Japan and England in order to show off the existence of the Second Anglo-Japanese Alliance .
Also in this picture, Captain Kaguya and Sublieutenant Fujiwara, who were usually at each others' throats, are seen together, which makes this an extremely rare picture.
Furthermore at this time, Sublieutenant Reisen was on the top of the stepladder, and Second Sublieutenant Inaba Tewi was riding on her shoulders. So Reisen wasn't photographed.
Because the first Anglo-Japanese Alliance was renewed and extended twice, in 1905 and 1911, strictly speaking, "the Fourth Anglo-Japanese Alliance" is correct.
