Is the site going to be fixed or were the changes made to it permanent?

Something is wrong with artist search.
If I do query for http://com.nicovideo.jp/community/co1123248 address, I get ten results and all are wrong. All of them are having http://com.nicovideo.jp/community/ record somewhere, but nope, not exactly the one I wanted.

The site is distorted all of the sudden. Like within the last 3 hours. It's not displayed properly on my browser anymore. Windows 8.0 default IE. Had no issues for months.
I checked in IE, but the site still looks fine for me. This is with IE11 on Windows 7. Are you using any addons/userscripts? Try disabling them. Also try a different browser besides IE.
Reporting the Internet Explorer bug as issue #2246. The site seems to be broken on all IE lower than 9.0.
For some reason post #1769555 and post #1769542 are still up and are reporting being 4 days old despite being unapproved.

Judging by the screenshots it appears to be not reading the horizontal position setting. By that logic Wikipedia should theoretically be broken

The script to delete >3 old pending posts is only run once every 24 hours. This means posts can last anywhere between 3 days and 3.999 days before being deleted depending on the time of day they were uploaded, which is what happened with those posts.
Was there some change recently that would affect the tags shown when you hover on an image? example being http://i.imgur.com/Wl1q6Bl.jpg, it used to be "Character" from "Copyright" by "Artist" and now it's just every tag. Extension I'm using for that is imagus.

The list of tags shown when you hover over a thumbnail has always included every tag and hasn't changed recently. That "Character" from "Copyright" by "Artist" thing you're talking about only appears in the document title when viewing the post.
It sounds like a change that was made to the imagus extension you're using.
Opened issue #2254 for the pool gallery layout bug (causing issues in Safari, latest stable)

Any way to get the old pool view back, where it just shows the titles/etc and not a preview image?
It's not linked (apparently), but you can go to http://danbooru.donmai.us/pools to view it as it was.

Just remove /gallery/ from the URL.

Cool. Should really be a toggleable feature, though.
That's been a problem for a while now. issue #2234.
Happening for some days issue #2234: https://github.com/r888888888/danbooru/issues/2234
We seem to have attracted an odd sort of vandal. Hakurayika has made (as of when I type this) 28 changes to notes in 6 posts. In every case, the user has inserted a string of Vietnamese into the note. (Vietnamese that translates as nonsense, even by Google Translate standards.)
Apologies if this has been reported already, but a search for the user's name on the forum didn't yield any hits, so I took a chance.
