I wouldn't object to that ( = ), although only the severest of Old Skool programmers review their images via the command line. Still, as I said it's working well for me on my Linuxs.

I've got a few scripts to resize images, rename files in groups (e.g. for a series of related images), files groups of images into certain folders, etc. that hook into my image-viewing program of choice. So I'm not actually using the command line directly for most of this, but the tools I use expect compatibility.

Oh, and while we're on the note of delimiters, underscores would also be good inside tags with spaces, such as artist names, to make it easier to distinguish between those with a space vs. a hyphen.

I have a problem since..maybe two days:
Was just around uploading some pictures but after some time, I can't upload anymore. Don't know why and this happens on every of Danboorus domains (i.e. Hijiribe, Sonohara and Danbooru). Can't upload like I said (i.e. I click on "Submit" but the Upload isn't processed).
Every other thing works fine: The autocomplete box appears and works, finding similars works too.
Has never happened before and begin like I said around two days ago.

@albert
Before it atually goes live... With one of the latest commits post description will move from gray text below the image to a header above the image - http://testbooru.donmai.us/posts/5 looks to be an example.

Is that really necessary? I think users won't like that; I'm sure I wouldn't. Line below the image is tolerable since it was easy to ignore, but bolded cursive above the image draws too much attention to itself. Can itemprop="description" function with hidden element?

If I were to make an educated guess it would be that someone linked danbooru on that pewdiepie r34 video, they already brought down all the other r34 sites the day it went up.

It seems to be going fine over at Hijiribe right now at least.

Since you two mentioned this to the visitors flooding the site, it's also bow become unresponsive....

And... maybe you are right. For some reason "pewdiepie" now suddenly appear on the Missed searches list.

Like PewDiePie's viewers would actually view the forums to see why the website is so slow.

Enough might. I find it highly interesting that things were fine on that server until it showed up in the forums (and one post I know of).

Looks like it's subsiding some. I guess they're leaving to rewatch archived shows.

Well the third page (not mentioning any names just in case) works without even the slightest delay, Danbooru and Hijiribe is still a tad slow.

Yup.
Does seem to be clearing better this time. At least until another timezone gets ahold of the video comments. Time to go back to complaining about overly broad application of highly restrictive upload limits that are at the whim and fancy of the mods.

It's not your fault, Unbreakable. At the time I posted (without names) ALL servers were at snail speed. Later one of them worked, now it's another one. Seems the raiding party switches servers once the one they use conks out.

I was more joking then serious when I wrote that so there's seriously no hard feelings.

That third page was serving up errors when I was using it this morning, when the PPD crew got in here. Ditto Danbooru. Hiji was fine until it got mentioned here and in one of Kouji's posts, which was when it began to die.

I wonder if there's any way to automatically load balance better than the current methods
