AI-generated art check thread

Does anyone know why AI-generated can't be removed from post #6147474 and post #6147489? A technical restriction, or? The artist is known for making AI-assisted content, specifically redraws of AI generations.

Metadata. The media asset contains things like the original seed and the model hash (see the "Parameters" field), it seems the artist didn't strip that from the picture after they edited it.

I'm not sure there's any reasonable way for danbooru to automatically distinguish between ai-generated or ai-assisted based on metadata, so we might have to imply one to the other if we want any kind of consistence.

post #6103313 - Wanted a second opinion.

I didn't notice back when I uploaded this, but after looking at all of the other artwork on the user's account, the signs are definitely there (pxuser #17523263).

1. Clear shift in artwork quality from October 2022 to November 2022 (i.e. the boom of AI art in general).
2. Several other artworks are actually tagged with AI-generated.
3. Almost all of the artworks from November 2022 artwork give off an AI feel.
4. The post in question (post #6103313) has the character with only a single thighhigh, which isn't unheard of for artists to do, but is a common tell for AI art (i.e. irregularities).

typical dead AI eyes

Recently Shexyo has been posting art very different to their original style. Many other artists have accused them of using ai generated/assisted art and changing it up, they have subsequently been blocked on twitter. After the whole tracing accusations I don't believe this is below them.

Shexyo has been proven to trace art and use AI (post #5723835) but since Danbooru allows ai-assisted art, there's not much reason to disapprove the art unless the usage of AI is really obvious and has little to no clean-up done on it.

post #6150373 — suspiciously deformed left hand on a background. Also filters.

this looks very hand drawn, actually.

The hair just below her chin is a dead giveaway

I don't know what you think of it, but for me post #6150105 does have visible AI problems like the face very probably being completely ai, and for the hair i have a hard time deciding if the over-presence of strands parting off and coming back into the hair are 100% AI, or "just" exacerbated by a half-assed attempt to add a few brush strokes to it.
There also are some stray water drops around her, very weridly placed ones, with a weird look to them, making me suspicious of the ones on the skin.
The only parts i'm actually sure have significant human intervention is the skin of the arms/hands, and the tinted glasses

post #6150105 has a bunch of clean-up done on it, but it’s not very good. The badly redrawn sky around the character’s arms, head and above the breast is pretty obvious. The only area that’s probably a real improvement is the hand.

I do most approvals on mobile, and while I do try to zoom in to make sure, I did miss a lot of tell-signs earlier. I am noticing more problems now that I'm looking at a bigger screen. At the very least, it seems like it's going to be rejected anyway unless someone comes along to approve it.

I saw someone suggest that this official art for Nikke post #5966572 might be ai generated

Isn't Kim Hyung Tae one of the Lead Artists or Producers at Shiftup? He's been posting Stable Diffusion touch-ups on his twitter almost everyday.

So yeah, not a surprise if it officially leaks into their artwork...

Is post #6150828 AI? The legs have a "fusion" and the fingers are weird.

Just looks like the artist just didnt bother to give a transparent/white look to that "fusion" between the legs which is, i think, supposed to be body fluid, the fingers do have human-like mistakes to them, not AI ones, and nothing else has an AI look, nor does it look inconsistent with what the artist has been producing before

This looks a ton like ai... https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/6156761?q=suuru

Compare it to the rest of their work, it's a crazy sudden shift the clothing and rendering, lighting and clothing all have the generic ai look too?
Look at their uploads then compare the thumbnail alone, it stands out ridiculously as extremely different and like ai.

100%, not even a question at this point, seems like this artist has just given up doing art
