Those fingers don't look humanly drawn, and the hair "melting" all over the place

Really unsure about this one: post #8147685
It mostly freaks me out because the style looks uncannily like official art for the series, but also whiffs strongly of novelAI. I'm fairly confident it's not actually official art because I haven't seen it before, and reverse image search returns nothing.
- All the details of her outfit are correct for her design, which is rare for AI
- In the pixiv post there is a sketch and lineart, though the style seems very inconsistent between them (could be img2img?)
- Deepl of the artist's comments: "I've been drawing for a long time. I'm trying a new style."
- As far as I can tell all of the artist's other work seems to be meh quality nude edits of official art from the game "ninjas must die"
- There's some inconsistently sloppy parts in the lineart particularly around her collar, neck and buttons
Maybe AI assisted? I just find it very hard to believe this random nude editor could suddenly produce an original piece in this style, I've never seen anybody reproduce the official style this accurately in the 10+ years I've been collecting art for this series.
You're right, it's NAI. It has several artefacts such as the collar lineart, the shading on her sleeves doubling as bands of the lower ribbons, and a random growth sprouting from her right lower arm. The "WIPs" a product of NAI's recent-ish Director's Tools feature which lets you img2img sketch and lineart, among others, versions of a picture with a single click. With the colored image as base I was able to get near identical results in just a few regens, of particular interest when comparing are the hatching-style strokes on her head & hair.
Owing to its danbooru dataset NAI can reproduce the design of any character with a 1k+ tag down to a T (ever wondered why Blue Archive is so popular among prompters?). I'm certain the rest of this guy's edit portfolio is just img2img as well.

https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/8110791?q=illix233illix233 has used AI tools to create ai-assisted artwork as seen in their deleted posts.
Both look fully generated to me, see Xingqiu's hair blending with grass, right hand with brooch, the abstract approximation of the brooch and jacket patterns' designs, broken flower near his left hand. Wriothesley's shirt mysteriously regrows under his necktie, which in turn appears stops existing under the collar, plus artefacted eye area.

The "random growth" is where her sleeve has a cut that opens up in her official design so that part is actually correct, but you're right about everything else.
Not my post but https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts/8147685
I am just curious how you guys are able to tell that it's AI? I suppose her hair roses look a little sloppy but that's about all I can point out. It has gotten good enough I guess that it fools me more often now. I even checked their Pixiv and there seems to be nothing that outright says they use AI in the posts.

For me personally it's a bunch of compounding factors:
In addition, in a few places the lineart makes no sense.

- Some of the hair shading makes no sense
- The roses get mangled in the middle
- THe lace is extremely inconsistent (this one's very common)

I only just now noticed Diet Soda's post on it as well...
Now that you point it out the hair shading is bizarre; will remember to look for that more often.

big AI-retouched vibe from timruya If you compare their 2023 work to what they’re putting out in 2024, the style jump is huge—like they went from an average artist to modare-tier rendering in just a year
They even mention using AI in their both Twitter bio https://x.com/ClumsyBun0 and https://x.com/TunaErozon/ (SD+PS)update: did another quick look at their latest image, it's undoubtedly AI-generated with some touch-ups

Artist posted this complete making of video for one of their fully self made works. So I guess some of their work is 100% human, some is AI/assisted.

Flagged and the flagger doesn't even know.
Need help to determine whether these posts are AI-generated or not.

First post didn't have AI generated tag on pixiv when I uploaded it. But when I checked the pixiv page 20 minutes ago the first pic had AI illustration as a tag but then 5 minutes later the AI tag got removed by someone, maybe the artist(?).
Male focus bara stuff here. Just a heads up.
Lots of the stuff in the link below from seem like they were ai-assisted.
The artist urielbeaupre15's artstyle has rapidly changed in these images specifically. Shading is much better than in his other works.

It's not for confirmation (the proof is rather obvious), so I do not know if this is the correct thread to report this, but I've noticed two "artists" whose images are AI-generated.
The first is timruya. Aside from the style being very suspicious, if you follow post #7448680 to its source on pixiv, you can see the image is tagged as AI-generated. He stopped tagging his images as such (likely to boost his commissions...), but I suspect all of them are AI-generated, as the style is the same.
The other is kurogami_ma. Again, the style is a rather obvious giveaway. If you check this image on his pixiv, in the commentary, he's saying he is using AI in it, as well as other images: https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/102152807
I do not know if that image itself is posted on Danbooru (due to account limitations). If you look at the dates of images tagged with his name, you can see "his" style suddenly changed completely...

timruya has posted a full video on Twitter about their drawing proces and they do mention that they use partially AI, but not that much.
https://x.com/TunaErozon/status/1835709694842691726
So his works should be tagged as ai-assisted instead.

Aside from what Bern-sama said, in the future you shouldn't just use a Pixiv tag or a single mention of the term AI as a confirmation that they're assisted or generated, instead look at the image itself, their other works, etc.

I understand what you mean, the way I meant it is that if there is already a suspicion on the "artist"'s works, then a previous image, which is tagged or mentions using AI, is a confirmation that other images, which present the same style, are AI-generated.

No, my point was specifically that those tag as and mentions do not confirm the suspicion. We've already had a few cases where an artist had their entire gallery tagged AI because someone misinterpreted their mention of AI in their bio to mean they use AI, and we do not need more of that.

I edited the message to re-word it in a better way just as you were replying, I'm sorry...

Based in my experience, some artists add the AI to their bios to mean they don't use AI, or they condemn the AI usage. A Machine-generated Translation can give a superficial idea to know if an artist uses or not AI, so yeah, one must do a short research before adding new artists or uploading an image of them.

I checked the link, even though video quality is low, you can tell the impact of AI is quite heavy:
https://files.catbox.moe/a45lqs.jpg
The Danbooru definition of assisted is very loose, so as the latter quote says, this maybe falls within ai-assisted instead of ai-generated, but it is definitely not fully self-made.
Also considering this is the making-of that he felt like sharing, and that it starts after line-art is already there, I believe one should think twice before uploading his images.
There's no way post #8169395 and its child aren't AI generated, right?
I'd like confirmation on the two artworks in https://arca.live/b/browndust2/113046448
