How to tag the dot pattern of the hand?
I've been wondering how to tag the glowing symbols behind these two dragon ball characters: post #3929894 post #7811198
Since they stay physically present on these characters for most of the time they are seen, I've seen people in the fanbase refer to them as halos, especially since this feature is only ever seen on gods (kaioushin). Would using the halo tag be the right call here? Or is there a better tag to use?
(This is very franchise-specific i know but some of these things don't have solid names in it.)
should extra digits even apply to "fingery abominations" such as post #7867368 or post #7920803? is there some other tag to better describe these? or should I just make too many fingers (similar to too many eyes which is also used for horrific abominations, and is also something of an extreme version of extra eyes)

Also, what is the difference between opaque_glasses and fogged_glasses?

Opaque glasses can't be seen through at all, and not necessarily due to fog.
Fogged glasses are not necessarily opaque (for example, you can still see the eyes in post #7530418).
Partially opaque glasses can be used if the eyes are partially visible behind lenses, or if you can see the eyes through lenses that should be opaque.

Do we have any tags for a character patching another up?

Monster girl or furry female? And if the latter, is there a tag for, like, partial furries like here?

Definitely monster girl. As for the second, not really. That kind of specificity doesn’t really help unless it is some clearly defined group, such as, for that one: cat_girl

Cat girl etc are used for furries too, since people obviously don't want to see furries when searching cat. furry cat_girl
As for searching for that sort of inbetween, monster_girl animal_ears, animal_legs, body_fur -furry
Face chain of brian griffin on post #7197312? These chain jewelries are interesting, and should be tagged, but I can't come up with a name, and concepts to classify them. r/pierceing also failed https://www.reddit.com/r/piercing/comments/zdypvk/how_is_that_ear_to_lip_piercing_called/

Is it though? The last I saw those be really big was back in like 2011 x3
There really isn't a tag for it, as you said. The only one that might work is ear_chain, but that specifies that it must be a chain that connects one part of the ear to the other. If you must have it (and you think there are a good number of posts that would qualify), I would propose using lip_to_ear_chain

Player tag seems to refer to a multitude of character designs, probably because the main character is fully customizable in the game. Is there any purpose in having this tag?

These tags are useful, particularly for customizable player characters, because they denote OCs and other connection to the game which might otherwise be assumed as original. Take Warrior of Light (FF14), for example.
P.S. You can reference tags without pasting the whole link by doing [[tagname]]
.
What should I tag this clothing at post #7932847? It looks like a sleeveless kariginu to me.

According to the Wiki of kariginu, the sleeves are not sewn to the body of the clothing, so using that tag seems appropriate to me. You already added the tag sleeveless, so it should be fine.
This has become a meme, but I don't know what to name it.
