I'm sure there's a name for this type of sign but I can't remember what it is: post #7846299

I don't think it has an established name. Wikipedia calls it a placard (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mug_shot), but on booru that specifically refers to a sign attached to a stick. Some posts use nameplate, but I'm not sure how correct that is either.

What do we call the various lights in post #7853596 now?
Real life doesn't seem like the right copytag for post #7854242 but I can't think of anything else for it

Are the tags here good? Am I missing something?
What are the mascots being parodied here? I'm guessing peko-chan and the mascot of gari gari-kun? The bearded one I have no idea? Also, gari gari-kun tag is for the popsicle itself and not the mascot character, isn't it?

Real life is okay if that's an illustration of the person and not a vtuber model or something.
That works, yeah, thanks. It's sometimes a bit tricky with some of these guys because some of them have pretty visually distinct mascot characters, but this is pretty much just the real guy.

It was good enough, though I added some more
I'm pretty sure these spanking posts should not have been tagged with child abuse.
I mean, I understand why some might think the tag applies here and strongly disapprove of it in real life, but outside of sexual situations, it's usually just depicted as a standard punishment. It's not framed as the same kind of psychologically scarring experience child abuse posts usually portray. Am I correct?
Although spanking is widespread, any reputable medical organization would consider it a form of child abuse, since punishments involving physical violence result in poor developmental outcomes. That's not saying addressing a legal or moral angle though, which would vary widely in different cultures.

I'm referring to its depiction in fiction, not real life. In these posts, it's meant to be seen as in the same category as being sent to the corner, not being beaten to within an inch of their life. A child abuse post, on the other hand, is usually intended by the artist to be seen as disturbing. It's made very clear that this treatment is harming the child.
Consider also that a young person can be depicted as consenting to sex with someone much older even if the former isn't old enough to legally consent. In real life, we'd consider this rape, but that doesn't mean we'd tag it as such.
Chiming in that I don't think spanking should be an instant child_abuse tag, post #1621175 for instance is perfectly innocent.
Those images linked seem to have a sexual connotation? The characters depicted appear to be much older than what we would tag child so I don't think the tag applies either way. In the case of actual kids though I think if the characters pants are pulled down and there is a clear intention to physically hurt the kid, not just discipline, child_abuse is a valid blacklist tag.
