Is the "Similar" button in the upload page broken?
Yes. For quite some time, actually.

Nope, it's working fine for me.
Not for me. No function at all. The most similar picture appears, but you have to open the comparison seite manually.
Now for something completely different. v2.55.0 went live, but ugoira uploading seems buggy. I just tried and got this error message:
Date: 2014-07-15 12:37:37 +0200 Source: http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=44512828 Tags: ugoira kasodani_kyouko touhou 1girl solo An error occurred: error: URI::InvalidURIError - bad URI(is not URI?):

Uploading ugoira directly isn't a feature of Danbooru yet, you're jumping the gun. You need to convert it to webm first using my script. But as uploading webm is currently bugged even that won't work.

Yes, it's supposed to make the most similar picture appear in the Similar results. It not opening up a new tab to http://danbooru.iqdb.org/ is intentional, since Danbooru now has a built-in iqdb that it uses instead of iqdb.org.

The gallery warning on source fetch seems to have been purged or is bugged.
Hm, it looks for "Manga #P" to figure out whether it's a gallery or not, but it's instead getting "漫画 #P" (Japanese lang version). Wasn't it working earlier? I wonder why it suddenly switched languages.
I changed it to be able to look for either one.

Why isn't the pixiv API used for this?
Danbooru's already making one request to the html page, no reason to make two requests.
And no, changing it so it makes one request to the api and none to the html page isn't an option. The api doesn't have all the information the html page does.

I know how to do that already. I just want to know why was that button removed.
See issue #2160. These buttons need some sort of toggle, but neither of the variants doesn't seem that good.
