Danbooru 2 Issues Topic

I'm not sure if it's possible currently to ban domains but we might want to ban uploads from the 3 danbooru domains. Normally I would argue that it's a non-issue but it's happened more than once now so we may as well block it if we can.

2.26.0:

  • Safebooru has been added back.
    • When on Safebooru, only posts rated safe will be visible.
  • Tags can be searched by whether they have an accompanying wiki page or not.
  • Forum topics can be more easily filtered by their category.
  • Editing post tags can optionally be done from a floating dialog window, so the image can be seen while tagging.
    • To open the dialog, open the edit tab for a post and click the arrow icon next to the tag field.
    • When the dialog is open, related tags can be hidden with the » arrow so they don't obscure the image.

I'm not sure if this is the correct thread but I can't seem to favourite any pics. It kept linking to my favourites page instead of straight up adding it that page.

That happens when javascript isn't working correctly. Do you have javascript enabled in your browser? If you do, which browser and version are you using?

Getting this error message whenever I try and upload http://i.imgur.com/cSuUMAH.jpg. I can upload other images fine so I'm not quite sure what the issue is.

This image doesn't appear to be JFIF-encoded like most JPEG images, so the ImageSpec library that Danbooru uses chokes on it. This version (losslessly converted using "jpegtran -perfect") ought to work.

Not sure if this was said earlier but, it would be nice to have a Child ID feature with the Parent ID. I believe it will make things easier while uploading a revision or a higher resolution of a post.

As it's one-to-many relationship, a field doesn't really work. "child:<id>" metatag, maybe?

the site has got https, that's neat (:

but hijiribe and safebooru have untrusted connection via https, that can be an issue (I'm a firefox user and it's bothersome to add exceptions, actually it is not, it just distresses me) can't it?

Just ignore the warning and add the exception. The sense of alarm is for things like fake bank websites that try to grab your login details. https is as much about identification as it is about encryption. You know what danbooru is, so you can just add an exception.

Also, IIRC the untrusted thing needs another website not connected with 'booru to confirm, so is a little tricky.

The SSL certificate itself is perfectly valid (actually bought from a signer, not self-signed) and is issued to "danbooru.donmai.us". So, when any other website tries to use it (and technically, "hijiribe.donmai.us" is another website), browser enters panic mode as it suspects phishing. Wildcard certificate (for "*.donmai.us") could solve the problem, but it costs 4 times more.

tl;dr just add exception, it's okay in that case.

Is there any way to disable the script or whatever it is that automatically highlights words on the upload form when you finish typing them?

I only ask as it's slow.

I've made it faster for the next version.
