Look at the artist's twitter, he's posting pen sketches in pretty much the same style so it's probably ai-assisted or generated with an im2img. The lineart does look really bad up close, definitely some AI involved.

It's a pretty clear (and somewhat known) AI account. You can compare the faces to yd_(orange_maru), it's definitely extremely dubious at best.
