Do these ghost things have a name?
Do you mean the floating dark things with eyes? They’re Takodachi (already tagged).

What could be implying squirrel here? This is a chipmunk (note the back stripes) and I tried to change it but it tells me I can't remove the squirrel tag
Nevermind, it's the chipmunk tag itself, whoops
How would one deal with characters whose designs are based on another character? I've been tagging Ph1LzA as Urahara Kisuke (Cosplay) and EthosLab as Hatake Kakashi (Cosplay) most of the time, but I imagine that might get annoying in the long run for fans of those characters, since these are the default outfits of these characters.
I'm having trouble figuring out whether post #7767037 qualifies for yuri. The girl on the bottom is slightly flustered, but is that enough?
Do we have a tag for drawing bases or model characters for clothes that I could use for this? That's what it's meant to be, I'm sure of it.

I think per our tagging conventions this is probably correct, although that's pretty bad imo.

No, tag it yourself, that's your job as an uploader. There's still more than enough things you can add here.
- Relevant commentary tags.
- They have more than just orange hair.
- Maybe actually check if there's an eyebrow color instead of creating a new gentag if it's not necessary?
- Medium breasts and cleavage?
- Shirt color?
- Amount of body covered?
If your brain is dead then wait until it's not dead to upload and tag. Tagme is not an excuse to be lazy, read its wiki, then read howto:tag. This thread is for if you genuinely don't know how to tag something, it's not to shove your responsibility onto others.
ETA: While you're at it, tag the rest of this too as well as this.

Is there a tag for the 3DS download screen?

@reg_panda Please go through the posts WeakestResUser pointed out. Many of these are ridiculously undertagged. You need to be at minimum tagging basic character details like hairstyle, hair & eye color, pose, composition. Take a look at howto:tag and howto:tag checklist.

read howto:tag

According to howto:tag uploaders definitely don't need to tag any single general tag:
Artist. See howto:artist for more information.
Character. All featured characters must be positively identified.
Copyright. Indicate from which series the characters came from.
*The original tag is used for art that is not based on any established works (anime, game, manga, movie).
Source. The original URL the image was taken from must be provided. If there's no URL, indicate by words from where the material came from (i.e. name of the artbook, name of doujinshi, imageboard, scan etc)
Rating. Sexual material must be indicated according to howto:rate.
Spoilers. Some images are spoilers themselves, and must be declared with the spoilers tag.
(actually help:upload do lists more, I think those should be removed)
I'm sorry I was offtopic here, this thread is not for asking other people to tag a picture for me.
Literally the first line of howto:tag:
"Tagging is the second most important job on Danbooru, and should be done meticulously."

You are misunderstanding what this means. The minimal tagging criteria is what is required to post an image, it doesn't mean you can just add those and call it a day. It is absolutely not saying you "don't need to tag any single general tag". You don't have to tag every single detail but you're expected to tag at least the basics, something which you are also clearly aware of since you admitted to reading help:upload and disregarding it.

I am not misunderstanding it. The author of the wiki explicitly collected some requirements, and called them minimal. It is the standard way to state minimal tagging requirements.
Probably you remembered wrongly what's written there.
It is standard practice to add at least 20 tags, the site even yells at you if you don't add at least a few gen tags. In fact people have been banned in the past for not tagging their uploads
I don't know why you would use an archive site dedicated to tagging and not assume it's a requirement in some capacity, please aim for at least 20 tags.

I suspect you're trolling me, but in case you're not let me repeat myself.
help:upload says:
"Comprehensive tagging is of the essence on Danbooru, its body and its blood. However, in cases where it is not yet possible to comprehensively tag an image as we would like, we have a minimum criteria for tagging new posts:"
The minimum tagging criteria is just defining the most basic tags, it's not a loophole that exempts you from having to tag your posts. You have clearly read the wiki pages which say that good tagging is important. I am not trying to berate you, I sent you a link to the tag checklist because I thought you might find it helpful.
reg_panda said:
You mean it is a description of how danbooru works technically? No, that's not true, you can omit source, copyright, characters, the only thing you technically need is the rating tag.
You can sit here and try to rules-lawyer the uploading and tagging rules and I have no problem dropping you a neutral or negative feedback for not tagging properly or you can learn how to tag properly and stop being snarky about it. Your call. People get banned for this kind of behaviour if done repeatedly. I'm not reading any of that nonsense attempts to snake your way out of proper tagging. You can ask for help on tagging if you don't really know, but don't ask others to do what you should be doing yourself. We're trying to help you improve your capacity as a Danbooru uploader and so you can avoid getting punished.
You know better. I've seen you on the forums before for similar such topics such as on the ratings help thread.

help:upload says:
And howto:tag said the exact opposite, at least I can't interpret it any other way, than a statement about an exhaustive list of Minimal Tagging Criteria. Anyway, it seems to be wrong, I fixed it. On danbooru it is a hard requirement to tag eye colors since ages. Probably I will feel why is that. (I definitely don't see it now, why.)
