Unfinished can produce some results - post #7681866 is the uncoloured sketch and its parent is the finished version with colours (similar with post #7610681 and its parent)
In other instances, they are considered making-of's - post #6799462 and the other 3 in the family that not coloured, but it is all part of a progression, leading up to the final parent. For another example, post #6967399 is merely the lineart of its parent
