How do I tag this?

is a tumblr reblog a valid source when the original source is deleted?

This thread is for tagging images, not for sourcing. But in any case, it seems uploading the image directly will give you the OG source. But as a general rule of thumb, a third-party source is better than no source at all. But you should still try to use the OG source if you can find the original in some way (like with tumblr reblogs from bad Tumblr IDs).

my apologies, I thought it would go here as it would effect whether the post would have bad_tumblr_id

Is this revealing clothes? I am not sure I can/want to decide if she wants to show her navel and midriff bc she is a slut or bc its the current trend and considered standard female clothing?

Revealing clothes are intentionally designed to be showy and not for real-world functionality - they only exist to show off as much of the body as possible while providing minimal coverage.

Also Matoi Ryuuko is mentioned in the tag as an example, I guess not her school uniform?

Revealing clothes is more for Matoi Ryuuko's other look (post #7501252), not post #7654033, which is just midriff. Another example would be Ceremonial Yui from Princess Connect!.

Why there is no tag for japanese_text ?

From the commentary wiki:

"Japanese commentary" is not a tag on Danbooru. Due to the extremely high frequency of posts by the Japanese language community, the language is treated as a default (...)

It is also implied that JP is the dominant and most common language to be seen in posts, from the translation request wiki:

When the untranslated text is not Japanese, additionally tag it with the appropriate language.

Some time ago, there was a discussion to undeprecate japanese text in topic #23886, but it was not revived in the end
