Nah, another "ai factory" pretending doing something. They can "draw" (I'm pretty sure that "sketches" are also AI) sketches after AI gen'd it. Too bad pixiv doesn't ban those fraudsters for not tagging AI...
Yeah, those edits are indeed weird. I'll keep looking for the original source, but since we agree that at least it's not egregiously AI, I've gone ahead and posted it for now: post #6179166
Hopefully with more eyes on it it'll be easier to find the original source and info on its creation. We can always flag it afterwards.
If I had to make a guess, the person who made this generated all of them separately and then cropped them into a single picture, which would explain all the ugly cropping around them. Also, some more AI artifacts can be seen in their irises, the "folds" around the right girls' bellybutton and the charm attached to her head, her "bandage" stockings, etc. I'm 100% sure it's AI gen.

post #6182174 looks AI and isn't consistent with their previous works. At the very least AI-assisted.
The line art is steady and brush strokes are clearly visible in their painting even got human errors on some ares. Most importantly, There is no melting or weird blurring in the image. don't think it's AI

I'd say it is consistent with their previous work. Same style of linework and color, but they used detailed shading instead of blotch shading like their previous work. And it's consistent directionally, something AI fails to do.
Even the minor mistakes are consistent with their previous work, so I'd saying their comment on pouring themself into it is true.
Everything this 'artist' makes is A.I. generated: https://danbooru.donmai.us/posts?tags=lattekoi5252&z=1 He just disingenuously refuses to flag them as such on his pixiv because "It's heavily edited" according to him.
Of course another of his works is 99% and another 0%
I mean, if you want to be super generous you could say its a.i. assisted. In that he takes a stable diffusion output and then photoshops it a bunch. This guy also posted with a hivemoderation link on reddit to 'proof' that it wasn't a.i. made when queried about it on his previous post, so he's clearly aware that it exists and will probably just throw enough photoshop filters on it until it doesn't come back as 100% a.i. generated. He also then deleted his reddit account because apparently he didn't like how people were catching on. It personally bothers me how he doesn't disclaim that most of his work is a.i. made nor does he tag it properly on Pixiv. His Pixiv account also started posting right when the a.i. craze started taking off. It's pretty obvious this guy is trying to pass off like he's a better 'artist' than he actually is. Not to mention that hivemoderation doesn't even return results for something like novelai so, you know.
I mean, just looking at his pixiv post history should be enough of a tell, nobody goes from https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/101970829 to this https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/106718066 in the span of 6 months naturally. And literally his first post was by his own admission, with a comment saying "AI assisted (StableDiffusion) & Photobash and paint over it, I hope you will like it." Yet somehow this guy starts churning out really high quality art at steady pace of once a week that is ''totally not a.i. generated.'' Surely, a pretty obvious case?
Of course another of his works is 99% and another 0%
Reminder that there will probably never be any reliable system to tell you if something is AI generated or not, and if there's ever any, it's not coming anytime soon.
He does have 8 approved works here and only one is "ai assisted" by his admission. So if no one sees AI in his other works, he does know how to draw and color. I wasn't privy to his gaming the system...and I chance getting a deletion and lose three upload slots as if I was.

post #6191734 I know, it fits the artist style well, but back of her dress looks suspicious to me. Is that an elbow or a back cutout? Why fabric line is misaligned around her arm? Why only one strap? Why the side seam in such place(nor it goes down from armpit, nor along the princess line)?

This one looks extremely confusing... and after checking the rest of this artist's gallery, i can't settle on wether the oddities in this post would come from AI wonk or from the artist's apparent struggle with anatomy (which still doesnt seems to be bad enough to produce the big mistakes of post #6191734 but can't be sure); half of me is convinced it's made by a human and the other half is convinced it's from AI

He painted this 10 months ago and it has the same kind of artistic distortions he's going for in the most recent pic.
Also, remember that A.I pics have a very predictable aspect ratio. 512x512 or 512x768 pixels is what they're generated at before upscaling.
The artists uses resolutions of 1693x3145 or 1349x2429 which are not easy divisible numbers for the above ratio.
I've also looked at the rest of their gallery, i even mentionned it, it's for sure a possible argument against the post being AI but also the distortions in post #5384721 are not the same and extremely tame compared to the absurd stuff in post #6191734 .
About the aspect ratio, a post having typical AI aspect ratio is a relatively good indicator of it being AI, but it doesnt work in reverse: one can easily upscale then manually crop the image resulting in a perfectly mundane aspect ratio, and it doesnt even need to be done specifically to erase suspicious aspect ratio but just because it's one of the easiest edits to make before posting. Even real artists do crop their art before posting more often than we realize.
