AI-generated art check thread

The latest few posts from sa_(nax49) seem to be AI, though I'm not sure whether they're fully AI-generated or AI-assisted. The artist's art style changed quite a bit in October, which is suspicious timing.

flagged the most recent post as i'm 100% sure it's ai generated

While it could be possible it is assisted, there are some awfully sussy mess-ups typical of AI, like why is her hair fusing with the strap around her neck, or the shoulder strap fusing with her shirt.

Hmmm, I'm actually convinced it was all hand drawn.

Look at the gun she's holding. I've never seen A.I make firearms that are real-life accurate. It's always a fantasy design with gun parts scrambled around.

The artist got closer, it's just suffers from some beginners mistakes like the wonky perspective.

Could be that the gun was hand drawn but the image as a whole absolutely had AI do at least part of it just because of that fusing hair and strap

The rest of the works from the source all feel samey. It's also entirely new- just two days ago.

- 9 fully rendered images churned out in the span of 4 days on pixiv
- Overall look of the images relatively inconsistent in style
- post #6200001 has noticeable AI shenanigans in it like the hair strands behavior around the shirt and the left (our left) leg fusing the thigh and ankle
- the image size is also exactly the robot resolution x2
Absolutely no doubt about that one

everything looks hand drawn to me including that hair fusing. Maybe the line art was traced from AI?

It metions that its study at the commentary.
Also, although the gun is pretty acutrre, there are some isusses on it that i normally see on AI generated guns. For exlame on this photo, the hand is holding the girp of the gun, but the lines seem to suggest the grip is actually bigger then it should be. There's also problems with how the character is holding the gun.

i'm not a gun expert but i agree for how the gun is held now that you mention it

What is going on with meola, the artist seemed to have deleted thier pixiv and Twitter. And the only working link is to a Twitter account called 8co28, which uploads mass amounts of ai-generated images. I don't even know If meola is related to any of this at all.

The accounts are the same and some old pictures are still on Booth, looks like they embraced AI.

Zamn. But regarding the posts, post #5685629 is probably the most obvious one. The greenery seems like it's melting into each other, the hands in the pocket are extremely off. The lifted leg is strange, and just overall the image has many strange artifacts.
In post #5682771, the stuff on the sweater is very offputting. Its very recognizable for an AI.
In post #5705177, there are many strange artifacts all around the image, and again the greenery looks like it's melting. The background is warped too.
And in post #5707945, the greenery is just the same as the other posts.

I'm suspicious of that one, and the fact it wouldn't be the first AI gen in nikke official art doesnt help

It's official art, which is much more credible in general. My instinct, for this post, tells me it's not AI, it is not able to make drawings like that. (Although the left character's torso looks non-existent, it doesn't look off apart from that.) I imagine if the devs use AI for the ingame CGs, then they're also applying their own hand afterwards.

Noticeable artifacts everywhere. 100% computer-generated.
