I genuinely do not believe that this is the case. They have to consider not only the short-term but also the long-term as a lot of the monetary payment systems can be traced back to one that disallows this type of content.

But sankakucomplex.com has worst content and they have payment options gelbooru sells merchandise.

Just take monero payment, it's not traceable and easy to convert to real money (and easy to buy for people wanting a gold account), so you're no longer under the threat of a payment processor's goodwill.
And it's not hard to implement.. Just run a monero wallet on server, make it generate a unique transaction ID when someone click on "upgrade my account" and wait the walled confirmation of reception/amount to unlock gold, it's really simple to setup compared to running a website like danbooru.

Either let us pay you or ease up on the limitations, damn. People have offered great solutions and been ignored.

I'm fortunate enough to be platinum. but I did want when I could afford it to be able to buy some Gold Codes and donate them to pleasant members whom I interact with. Both to help them and as the best way to help fund the dear old site we love so much. I'm getting there, but I'm not sure this Gold business will be ever sorted.

However I do admire the rigid stance of the management in not compromising, and in avoiding unnecessary risk to the site. So it all goes two ways.

This issue will probably never be resolved.

If this is going to remain an issue indefinitely, I wish they would at least bump the default tag limit up a bit. That's really all I care about. Not even being able to have an artist or copyright tag together with two other tags is obnoxious.

that's crap I sold my platinum account months ago after whole paid rewards I am no using sankaku since am a contributor I don't pay for shit.

you will have to go to other image archive sites some users will be willing to sell their accounts but it will cost you a lot and make sure you change
the email and username and passwords.

So what I take from this whole thread is that there is no light. All payment is down and things like paypall cashapp and crypto as well. The platinum account option which was usually given as discord event rewards was archived. So untill the issue is solved the only way to get access to content is to get builder by contributing time and effort and skill to the site. Too bad I suck at art.

Platnium is retired, yes, but gold supersedes it.
You don't have to be good at art to be a contributor/builder.

Tagging and forum participation can earn Builder. Just demonstrate an interest in improving the site.
