Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

Okay, you didn't need to dig through my history so that you could put me on blast for my motives behind a lot of my uploads, my previous low-quality posts, my commission that I didn't even know was traced, and the fact that I'm bad at tagging. None of that was relative to my question.

But whatever, at least the middle section of your comment was helpful, even though it was super rude when you said that "I, despite being here for years, didn't know how the site works," which is technically true but ignores the fact that I have only used this site twice in my entire life, uploading two big batches of images that are over two years apart. But whatever, at least you answered the question. So thanks, I guess.

Weak and haphazard shading and linework. A common error among amateur artists is to just shade because they know they have to shade hair, but don't put any thought into why they do that or how it affects the rest of the image.

It's likely that the approver either did not notice that there was a second version or, as can happen, thought the second version was actually an inferior version from a different source. We've gotten a bit complacent with ignoring child posts because of the frequent 1upping and (less frequent) post count padding.

Please read the help:upload rules and help:upload. Self uploading is strongly discouraged and, as such, is held to a higher degree. Even so, your uploads fall far below Danbooru's quality and you had four others deleted before this.

Further, you're uploading with almost no tags. So that second link's section on Minimal Tagging Criteria is especially important.

It's mostly the anatomy and linework, yes. For instance, Childe's got small head bara syndrome.

There are over 300 approved submissions by the same artist with similar art style and content.

Why did mine not pass muster?

It doesn't matter how many images are already uploaded. Images are mostly judged in isolation.

In this case, Shuuko's quality has been a bit questionable lately. Seems like he's been churning out his commissions a lot faster than he used to and there are some aspects that have been suffering for it. Namely, as seen in this image set, there's been a lot of lumpy heads, inconsistent body shapes, and things like uneven legs.

Unres users used to upload this artist fairly often but haven't in several months. Ya hate to see it.
