Any reasons why these were deleted?

Why were post #5509487 and its children deleted while post #5509247 was not?
They are both by the same artist and contain similar content so I don't understand why only one passed muster.

The amount of tag is generally irrelevant for approval.
post #5489256 - Pretty rough and mediocre overall. Look at those hands, for example.
post #5489272 - Everything besides the face is pretty rough.
post #5489264 - Bad proportions: Huge hands and long arms.
All posts have the problem that they’re pretty bland and not that interesting: a single character with no background to speak of, like the thousands we already have.
I believe there's nothing wrong at post #5406519, post #5510752 or post #4497734. The only problem seems to be that I uploaded them first and then someone else uploaded the pixel-perfect duplicate (not revisions or larger versions) and my posts got ignored as a result. Can't something be done against that practice anyways? It's just done by users to boost their post count at this point. I know my feelings don't count in this but it's really frustrating when it happens.

None of those three posts are tagged pixel-perfect_duplicate. Instead, all three are inferior JPGs and someone else uploaded the superior PNG versions.

Okay, thank you for the reply. I didn't know there was a minimum of drawing quality to upload, I will check the upload thread further.

Yes, there is. Please make sure to read the Uploading Guidelines, which already state that “Danbooru has stricter quality standards compared to most galleries of its kind.” Reading some of the feedback in this thread is also a good starting point. A lot of the feedback sounds incredibly nitpicky to new users, but it should give you a general idea about what many of the approvers are looking for.

Alsatian clothes is quite niche content, so it may be harder to find high quality art, but if you do find some, feel free to upload it.
Would love to get an opinion on post #5461446 and post #5461425. I might be partially biased, since I have commissioned these artworks, but I'm open to anyone naming possible flaws these two might have. If it's because I uploaded smaller versions of the full-size artworks to my Twitter account, I have no problem uploading the full-sized artworks here.
If I a few more by this artist (and others too), but got a bit discouraged when these two weren't approved.

Edit: Could've sworn it was accepted, but maybe I was wrong. Still wondering why it's not approved tho.

this and the other three i uploaded here post #5392020 are the rest of a set of six, two of these alts were already approved
also, i don't get why post #4966950 and post #4966955 weren't approved either

They were not approved, they were uploaded by an unrestricted user. Users with unrestricted uploads don't have to go through the approval process for images.
