Upload Feedback Thread - post here if your uploads keep getting deleted

Hi, I'm looking for some feedback about two posts of mine that didn't manage to get approved within 3 days (post #5413838, post #5412153). They have the same artstyle (artist: tudili). A third image by the same artist I uploaded (post #5413400) was approved pretty quickly.

I'd be interested in hearing whether there's some quality- (or other) issue with the two.

The first one has one girl's ass way too high, causing the anatomy to be a little lacking. The second has a slightly wonky face.

What is wrong with post #5417134 and all the related expression charts from the same artist?

Idk, they seem pretty solid to me. The only "problem" here might be just the fact the style is a bit western...?

Just too sketchy. Also, no offence but please do not offer advice in this thread unless you are an approver or at least unres.

Touhou expression charts are something I will generally skim past in the queue without even taking a closer look at, but in this case I think they're fine, and I've undeleted them.

Its just kinda amateurish art, especially the faces.

Hi, I feel compelled to appeal this one. post #5417533
Satoshi Urushihara is an industry veteran with stellar art skills. "Master of boobs". I think this was rejected because of the manner in which I uploaded the image (from my PC after I downloaded it.) I know this is a red flag now, so I won't do it anymore. But I think the art itself should be a given a second chance because it's the very definition of stellar anatomy and picture quality (no scan lines) and comes directly from the artist's pixiv. I don't know why it wouldn't be accepted otherwise. EDIT: Today is a good day.

Please do not give advice like this. If you're not certain - doubly so if you're not an approver - it's better to not say anything in this thread. Otherwise you'll just cause confusion.

Hello. Please, reconsider your decision about this art. There is a cute pink bat. In addition, it's a connected meme. Please note that he's, sitting at the black table, that's not a badly loaded art, you can see it from the incident light. Line is okay too.
After all, this art is a meme and without it the whole point is ruined. Also, the bat is drawn as in the game.

Images are judged on their own merit. It doesn't matter if they're a meme or part of an image set.

Further, you can copy/paste that number at the end of the URL and use post #5390831 instead of posting a whole URL every time.

It's already been approved, but if you feel compelled to appeal you can just appeal. This thread is for clarification more than it is for an appeal. There's a button on the sidebar below the tags labelled "appeal".

In addition, I again have to state that images are judged in isolation. We do not need your opinion on the artist or his work experience.

Again, if you want appeal you should use the Appeal button on the left side of the image page. This thread is more for clarification on why something might have been deleted.

In this case, that image is a teaser for an upcoming in-game scene. It's more or less a screenshot, not official art.

Hello. I don't think there is anything wrong with post #5416750 except it's now a child post.

Also, the tagging of the parent post was taken from both child posts whose tagging has been mostly only done by me. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that's a problem by itself, but when the original post gets deleted and basically disappear from the website, I feel like my work on the tagging is not really recognized.

Hello, I would a like a perspective on why post #5421125 was deleted. Its an interesting showcase of exaggerated foreshortening and feet focus, and was clearly intended as such by the artist. Plus the anatomy is accurate, and overall the colors and shading are done well.

The foreshortening is a bit of a failed overexaggeration. They made the foreground look like a close-up but didn't make everything else seem that much farther away. Plus, there are some anatomy glitches in her right leg caused by that exaggeration. Even with perspective tricks, her shin is way too long.

Thank you for your reply. I think I see now what you mean by her right shin being too long (earlier I had just chalked it up to the zoom from the foreshortening effect). The foreground items like the heels and the dice are enlarged but I guess the background cans and her left hand should have been smaller to compensate. It was a difficult image to quickly judge and post, but I'll try better next time.

Hello, I am wondering as to why post #5403950 and post #5400448 are deleted. I cannot seem to find what rule they were breaking or what condition I missed, and on my appeal I was not told what issue needed to be addressed.

I don't believe they qualify as paid rewards given their nature as commissions and not paywalled content, though I may be misunderstanding that rule. I also couldn't find either artist under "banned artists". If there are issues with tagging or the image itself, let me know and I can try to fix them. Is there something I am missing?

If this is because of the art style, I can understand why you wouldn't approve it.

Art style aside, it's simply not particularly well drawn, especially Megaman himself. The blanket also seems like it's a stock asset that was placed.

Not every deletion is because of a rule break and you don't need permission to upload.

A vast majority of deletions, such as these two, are due to quality issues. The two images simply don't reach the site's quality standards.
