My posts seems to be ignored mostly even though I only post quality art. It frustrates me having to appeal it mostly to be noticed and it really cuts my upload limit, its sad that this happens when I often see bad quality posts and mine that are good quality gets rejected. I only want to achieve a higher membership but I don't think I can make it to builder.

I like some of your posts, specially the last one.

You have to be very carefull with the sourcing. You cant just upload some images you find on reddit. They have to be sourced from the artist post.
Besides that you have to be carefull with the western pinups, this is mainly anime style oriented.
If you keep up and improve over time builder is garanteed, builder is very loosely related to amount of deleted pictures. Lots of contributions overall help.

Adding to it, if becoming a builder is your goal, you can be promoted by helping with other stuff. Give a look at howto:contribute.

Check help:upload. Try looking for artworks on Pixiv, I like to browse Artstation and Lofter as well and some artists upload the best public version of their works to Twitter, which preserve image quality nowadays. Make sure to properly check if the pictures haven't been uploaded already, from a proper source, with the highest quality. There are great tools to help you with uploading, like the Bookmarklet and about:userscripts.

Agreed. I almost never upload, and I got promoted to builder just by doing a lot of tagging, if you want to go that route.

People have been asking for a thread where feedback on uploads could be obtained. So here it is. I have some reservations about how acrimonious this thread is likely to get, and if it turns into nothing more than a flame-fest, I will lock it.

Rules for those requesting feedback:
#1 - You are not guaranteed feedback. It is entirely voluntary to give it.
#2 - Danbooru may simply not be an appropriate place for your favorite art. If so, accept this and move on.
#3 - Try not to be too thin-skinned,and don't take things personally.

Rules for those giving feedback:
#1 - Give constructive feedback only.
#2 - Refrain from name-calling. Asking people to be thick-skinned doesn't mean you're allowed to be insulting.

Hello! I am new here. I am joining various NSFW sites in order to gain some exposure or criticism with my art. I am a newly NSFW artist and I guess I am not familiar with all the rules yet. My recent picture I posted of my character Krishi was deleted as it was of "poor quality". Why was it deleted? Do I need to refine the image first, and post it again? It merely was just a sketch I did to be honest.

Thanks!

We're not really a site for beginners to post their own art. It's generally frowned upon to do so. You would be better off posting to pixiv or Hentai Foundry.

Oh I gotcha! I guess I will post once I get better then! Thanks!

Third party watermarks will prevent me from approving an image 99% of the time.

How awful, watermark actually useful to prevent art being stolen but whatever if it's this website rules, I'll remove my own watermark on my own art.
Just make sure that signature still allowed (cuz I don't want my hard work getting stolen!)

Amateurish shading and very questionable torso anatomy.

Note that he said third-party watermark. It's not against the rules to have a signature or watermark on the image, but a watermark from someone other than the artist has a tendency to mean it's already been stolen.

Further, you've quoted something that is over a decade old.

Further still, you should not be posting your own art on Danbooru. Regardless of "hard work" Danbooru has strict quality control standards that an artist may not be able to accurately judge in their own work. Given that several of your uploads were manually deleted by an approver, I am going to ask you to please refrain from uploading any more of your own work until you drastically improve. You'd be better off sticking to sites like DeviantArt, which is dedicated to showcasing your own art.

Please restore and approve this post. I don't know why someone not approve my favorite fanart post image? And later on, the post was deleted. This is good quality image for post.

I suggest not linking too many posts at once here. You'll have better chances of people looking at them if you linked fewer than 3-5 posts.
You could also appeal the ones you think deserve a second chance. The modqueue has been really busy lately with over 1000 images every couple of days, and from my experience appeals are a good way to give the approvers more time to come across a post.

I don't understand why all my uploaded arts were deleted. There was good quality

No, the quality of your uploads is far from what we expect on Danbooru. You have already been told that uploading your own art on Danbooru is highly discouraged. The reason for that is that’s harder to objectively rate your own art. Please upload your art to Deviantart or Pixiv and not Danbooru.

post #5372974 (this artist has similar pixel art approved before so I don't know why)

“Similar art got approved” is never a good argument because each post gets judged individually. They’re both not that good, though. Maybe you got lucky with one.

The last one is post #5305006 (furry male) so I think it might have been because of furry content

Male furry isn’t that popular, but I guess the fact that it’s bara is having a bigger impact. I think many users have at least one of furry and bara tags blacklisted.
