Well, with that one, I put down what was already standing.
I was thinking of this for a long time, but it is only now that I have to say this. I know that not all "bunny girls" wear "bunny suits," but all girls wearing "bunny suits" are "bunny girls." And yet the number of posts having the "bunnysuit" tag outnumber those with "bunny_girl" and those with both "bunny_girl" and "bunnysuit." Furthermore, the standard for tagging Playboy bunnies in scans in Imouto is "bunny_girl." Isn't it high time to use "bunnysuit" as an implication to "bunny_girl," even if it involves crossdressing?
Going by the current alias in place, bunny girls (as well as bunnygirls) should be an alias for bunny ears. If you look at the alias, it seems most of the major animalgirl types are alias for their specific animal ears.
bunny girl might be a special case though, since they are most likely to be fake (i.e. just a costume) à la Playboy. I'm not sure if that makes them distinct enough for special treatment, but it's worth considering.
Well I think it depends on which is more commonly used in English, its usage in other languages I think would be irrelevant to a English website. I think official sources favor mustache over moustache (evident by the fact that firefox's spell check is labeling moustache as a misspelled word as I type this). The Merriam-websiter and American Heritage dictionaries use mustache as the primary variant, linking moustache with a simple "see mustache for definition" setup. Additionally Encyclopedia Britannica also favors mustache over moustache.
Bringing back an issue with Pokemon, I think one of the character aliases was a bit hasty.
-Green_(pokemon)->Gary Oak (Or whatever the heck he's called in Japanese) is passable since there's practically no visual difference between the two (Personality aside). This is the case with most of the Pokemon Special versions, so there shouldn't be a problem. However...
-red_(pokemon)->satoshi_(pokemon) seems like way too much. While they are somewhat equivalent in the sense of "being the main character in a pokemon instalment" and general ensemble of clothing, I think there's enough aesthetic difference to split the two, nevermind how completely different they are as characters.
And yeah, I'll throw in my two cents as for the whole pokemon monster alliases. The general EN->JP policy is well known, but is that really a good idea to leave people scratching their heads as to what the tags mean? I've fixed a couple undertagged posts and have had to double-check just to see if I got everything, because as soon as I saved the changes, I was at a loss as to what exactly I had just written and what I had missed since I could no longer recognize the names.
What I'm saying is, while I agree we should respect policy, isn't this just pointless obscuring of meaning? "Fucking with the posters heads" doesn't really seem very productive. A lot of people can tell that Satoshi=Ash simply from general weeabooism, but do you people actually recognize the pokemon Spear?

So we're going to be forced to have the japanese pokemon names no one knows about after all? Alias pokemon to pocket_monsters while you're at it. Really, what's the point with following this policy to the letter every time? Danbooru isn't an encyclopedia, it's a service - We're supposed to generally recognize the tags. What's wrong with castlevania, or darkstalkers, or resident_evil, or spice_and_wolf, or neon_genesis_evangelion?
Aliasing castlevania to akumajo_dracula is like aliasing higurashi to when_they_cry or detective_conan to case_closed. They are rarely called that way by "us".
Yeah this should be generally dealt like usual, but it shouldn't be an iron rule in particular cases like these.

I thought we had decided *not* to accept those aliases. I wonder when and why Albert changed his mind.
It's doubly confusing because the pokemon wiki page still explicitly says to use the english name for the creatures themselves.
Ah, this someone missed my eye, I'm not sure if I should copypaste what I said the the JP-EN topic or not but.
Some of these changes back the JPN name just seems kind of pointless. Like memegui said "We're supposed to generally recognize the tags." Only the most hardcore and anal otaku (or "weaboo" if you must use such a dumb term) will get some of these changes.

DB yes, DBZ not really, they're all different series of a bigger merchandise called DB; DBGT is not a series of DBZ.
