I am pretty sure that normal animals would react the same way to Thirens as they do to regular humans unless they can communicate. Jane may be a rat but her size would still make regular cats wary of her.

Okay, this post was severely undertagged character-wise. I've added what I can but comsidering I haven't played a main-series Pokemon game beyond 3rd gen, and haven't played anything beyond 4th gen, assistance on the last handful of untagged characters would be appreciated.
