In Egyptian mythology, Set is the fox-headed god of evil, dark magic, and darkness.

Set is usually depicted as a villain is several myths and an arch-nemesis of Horus. His antics were used to explain various phenomena within ancient Egyptian culture, such as his killing of Osiris that became the origin story of mummification.
