hatsushimo (kancolle)
Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese destroyer Hatsushimo. Character design by Yadokari.
She is portrayed with long black hair tied low and red eyes. Her default outfit, shared with her sister Wakaba on historical grounds, consists of a white collared shirt, red necktie, black jacket, black pleated skirt, black socks, and black loafers.
Her rigging consists of funnel and foremast to her back, a 12.7 cm single handgun mount on her left, a 12.7 cm twin handgun mount on her right, and two 61 cm triple torpedo tubes on the sides of her waist.
Despite her record as one of the few surviving ships from Operation Ten-Gou (and the only one who was undamaged), she is also the very last major warship sunk in action during the war. The circumstances of her sinking and the genericness of her design has turned her into the most inconspicuous shipgirl of the game before her second remodel.
