f-86d sabre
A radar-equipped interceptor version of the North American F-86 Sabre, easily recognized by its radome. It shared little in common with other Sabres: it was larger, heavier, faster (because it had an afterburning engine), and came armed with a retractable underfuselage tray of 24 70mm rockets instead of machine guns. A few radar-equipped Sabres (F-86Ks, used mainly by European countries), were armed with four 20mm cannon instead of the rocket tray.
