After Choudenshi Bioman, Haim Saban would make his second attempt at pitching an American Sentai adaptation with Jetman, as a result of Jetman being far more recent than Bioman by that time. It would be passed over in favor of Kyouryuu Sentai Zyuranger for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Despite this, aspects of Jetman would inspire Zordon and his relationship with the Rangers.
