The newly-hatched infant forms of the Yoshis, introduced in Super Mario World. They are unable to move on their own and need to be carried around. They can eat anything, and after eating a certain threshold of fruits, items or enemies they usually grow into normal Yoshis.
Baby Yoshi Exclusive Abilities
The design of the Yoshis in Yoshi's Story, despite being more representative of the current modern design, were said to be Baby Yoshis within the game's setting. Despite this, do not tag the Yoshi's Story Yoshis as Baby Yoshis.
