Edit
An ultra high-altitude reconnaissance jet airplane, operated by the CIA during the Cold War to spy over the Soviet Union in all-weather, diurnal and nocturnal missions.
It was considered safe from attacks due to its service ceiling. There wasn't any kind of fighter jet or missile able to reach it. In 1960 one of them was shot down over Soviet Airspace.
It can be recognised by its high aspect ratio and huge wingspan (31 m) wich required supports while at ground and during take off. The wings are also classified as straight and tapered.
