Note: Standard convention for "ü" is to write it as "ue" when ü is unavailable or inconvenient. For usability reasons Danbooru does not use 'accented' letters in tags.

History
In real life, Thüringen was the third of four Helgoland-class battleships of the Imperial German Navy. She served with her sisters in every major naval action of World War I, especially Jutland. In that battle, she was grouped with her sisters as BatDiv1, 1 Battle Squadron, and escaped being struck by Warspite's shells.
Later, she would have been part of the Ten Go-style suicidal sortie of the German Navy's High Seas Fleet in late October 1918, but mutinies broke out that forced the cancellation of the sortie. A month later, the ship was interned in Scapa Flow with the rest of the High Seas Fleet and ceded to France, who used her as a target ship before sinking in 1921 and broken up on site in 1923, although remains of her still exist to this day off the French coast.
