Kantai Collection character personifying the I-47, a Type C cruiser submarine. Her goroawase name is "Yona" (ヨナ).
Like all personified submarines, she wears a blue school swimsuit, worn under a crop top sleeveless sailor shirt with a white sailor collar and a grey neckerchief and a translucent skirt. She also wears black over-kneehighs that come to the top of her knees, and rudder footwear. She has long low-tied black hair with long sidelocks secured with tress ribbons, green eyes, and horn-like headgear attached to the sides of her hair. Conspicuous on her damaged CG is a mole located on the rump of her right buttock.
Not long after her introduction, she was officially given an alternative swimsuit that is not a stylized school swimsuit. This alternate swimsuit is a mismatched bikini composed of a lemon print blouse-like top and a plain white side-tie bikini bottom bottom.
The historical submarine's only remarkable achievement was the sinking of USS Mississinewa on November 11, 1944 using a Kaiten missile. She was later made a Kaiten mother ship at the end of 1944, decommissioned on November 30, 1945, and was sunk as a target off the Gotou Islands on April 1, 1946.
