Personification of the Hachisuka Kotetsu sword. Uchigatana class. Historically, the sword was the treasure of the Hachisuka Clan.

In Touken Ranbu, Hachisuka has a strong aversion to the "counterfeit" Kotetsu swords, including Nagasone Kotetsu. He takes pride in the fact that he and his self proclaimed brother Urashima Kotetsu are the real deal. In addition to this he's also a bit of a narcissist, seen in his fieldwork quote. Despite all of these negative qualities, he still secretly has respect for Nagasone, but doesn't want to admit it.

He's one of the five swords the player can choose when starting the game, alongside Kashuu Kiyomitsu, Yamanbagiri Kunihiro, Mutsu-no-Kami Yoshiyuki, and Kasen Kanesada.

He has long purple hair and blue eyes, with white gloves, a full golden armor set, and golden armored boots. In his casual mode he has a high ponytail coupled with a golden kimono and haori with golden sandals. The over saturation of gold on his person references the fact that the ornate mountings of the original sword (in addition to the inscription on the sword) are colored gold. Because of this, fans see more than a passing resemblance to him and Aries Muu.
