Giselle Almeida was born and raised in Rio, in 1990, self-taught and began her artistic life at 17 years old.

At 18, she worked with photo manipulation in Platinum FMD, one of the best and most awarded advertising studios in the world. Soon after she worked for Ícone Studio, Finalboss, Copa Studio and Lightfarm Brasil.
She did freelance illustrations for editorial and has a project in development called Avaris, where most of her personal illustrations come from.
