The Luger P08 is a German semi-automatic handgun that saw use in both World War I and World War II. Other than its iconic appearance, the P08 uses a complex toggle-lock mechanism. It was the very first handgun chambered in popular 9×19mm Parabellum round.
The Luger P08 can also be fitted with a long barrel and a drum magazine. This tag is also applicable to its full auto variant (Artillery Luger) that has those features, often fitted with a shoulder stock. The handgun became highly-prized war trophies by Allied soldiers.
