In Greek mythology, Caenis was a woman who was raped by Poseidon. Afterwards, Poseidon granted her a wish; Caenis wished to become an invulnerable warrior. Poseidon granted her wish, turning Caenis into the male Caeneus.
The version appearing in Fate/Grand Order has her original female body, but is often referred to with male pronouns by others in the game. She uses the masculine personal pronoun Ore.
